24/7/2007 13:06 | Does anyone have the full portfolio on EXCEL? A back of the envelope calc suggests that the current NAV will be c.187p based merely on the rises in OXS & FOGL - that's a 6% increase not yet reflected in the share price | skyship
23/7/2007 13:21 | Great news from FOGL today - punches our NAV through 180p.... | skyship

04/6/2007 18:53 | What the silly moo didn't say in MW was that Nick Greenwood of Iimia had briefed her on the expiring warrant situation referred to in the header of this thread. Nick thinks there should be a concerted move up from here as the discount narrows, and if today is anything to go by, he's spotted a winner. I saw his comment in trade mag Investment Week last week. Thanks Nick. | shavian
04/6/2007 08:45 | Shares moving well this morning. Meryn-Somerset-Webb from Money Week is very enthusiastic about the shares. Writing in the Sunday Times she says that if you believe in the Commodities super cycle this could be one undervalued share, trading at the moment at a 13% discount to net asset value. Regards. I hold. | pip_uk
30/4/2007 07:56 | Warrants coming good big time. | mart
21/4/2007 09:54 | barnetpeter, sorry you had to wait a whole week for the next trick.... Special Situations Fund NAV/share for close of business on 19.4.07 (US$ class) was $3528.57, up 2.13% on the previous week. That increase should produce the following figures for RSS plc: Undiluted NAV ~175.3p/share, fully diluted NAV ~163.95p/share. At the current RSS share price of 137.5p/138.75p (mid 138.125p), that represents a discount of 15.7% to fully diluted NAV. RSS "B" warrants are currently priced at 7.5p/9.0p. With the last day for exercise of the warrants being 23.5.07, it should be an interesting, possibly volatile, run-up to the finishing post. All IMO. | exmooroil
16/4/2007 20:37 | Good call exmo. For your next trick .....? | barnetpeter
13/4/2007 15:07 | RAB's website has just posted the Special Situations Fund NAV/share for close of business 12.4.07. For the US$ class, the price is $3454.69/share compared with the last declared price at close of business on 4.4.07 of $3378.17/share. The increase is 2.25%, which should, IMO, produce the following figures for RSS plc: Undiluted NAV slightly over 171.5p/share, fully diluted NAV slightly over 161.1p/share. At the current RSS price of 137.5/139.0p (mid 138.25p), that represents a discount of 14.2% to fully diluted NAV. RSS "B" warrants are currently priced at 7.5p / 9.0p All in my humble opinion. | exmooroil
12/4/2007 06:07 | Updated figures as at 4.4.07 close, per RNS: Undiluted NAV 167.84p Fully dil NAV 158.38p RSS share price (11.4.07 close) 137.5/139.5 = 138.5p (mid) Discount to fully diluted NAV: 12.55% RSS "B" warrants price (11.4.07 close) 8p bid, 9.75p offer | exmooroil
10/4/2007 09:06 | RSS has some big holdings in some of the biggest movers. Thor Mining for instance (initially had over 20%) - THR. | barnetpeter
10/4/2007 08:08 | NAV up to 168 now. | barnetpeter
27/2/2007 06:58 | Updated figures as at 22.2.07 close, per RNS: Undiluted NAV 163.65p Fully dil NAV 155.24p RSS share price (26.2.07 close) 137.00p (mid), Discount to fully diluted NAV: 11.74%. | exmooroil
19/2/2007 11:20 | Thanks barnetpeter, Here are the full figures as at 15.2.07, per RNS: Undiluted NAV 162.10p, Fully dil NAV 154.08p, RSS share price (11am today) 136.25p (mid), Discount to fully diluted NAV: 11.57%. This time last year the discount to fully diluted NAV was around 5% - that's not to infer that the discount will narrow this year. | exmooroil
19/2/2007 09:02 | Undilted up to 162.10 pence this morning. We only need the discount to close to 10% for the warrants to be fully in the money at the current 11p. | barnetpeter
06/2/2007 07:37 | RSS NAV update released this morning, as at 31.1.07: Undiluted 159.54p, Fully dil 152.15p, RSS share price: 132.5p (mid), Discount to fully diluted NAV: 12.9%. | exmooroil
