QinteiQ Group posted another very solid and dependable looking set of Interims this morning. Revenue was up 7% to £946.8m through consistent operational performance and up 8% on an organic basis. Underlying operating profit was up 7% to £106.6m with stable margin at 11.3%, up 7% on an organic basis. Underlying EPS was up 6% to 14.2p and the Group’s share buyback program was extended by £50m. Being down a couple of % on results day is actually really good going these days. I’ve seen much better results than this met with 10%+ drops. We are all fine here, also the UK is ramping up its defence send to Ukraine before the handover to trumps

Take a hit short term, if he war ceases.
But longer term I expect defence spending to continue rising.

Yes, Trump’s antiwar. But he’s pro-military preparedness and allies increasing their defence budgets. Trump is a positive for QQ, IMHO.

I think its just up with events and fully valued, hasn't found an acquisition so continuing to return cash so perhaps no obvious catalyst for a premium rating. Quality company but I've taken profits across the mid cap defence companies and redeploying in small cap niche CNC and FTC

QinetiQ wins TacSys Resource Partner (TRP) contract with Defence Digital

QinetiQ has won a three-year contract to provide Defence Digital with engineering and programme expertise to help deliver the next generation of tactical military communications. This contract is part of the Land Environment Tactical Communications and Information Systems (LETacCIS) Programme, which will enable the British Army to make better informed and more timely decisions when operating on the front line.

The three-year contract has a potential value of £150 million with an initial contract award of £39m and is with the UK's Ministry of Defence's (MoD) Defence Digital organisation, which is responsible for ensuring the UK military has access to effective digital products and services. The contract also includes options for extensions for up to two further years...
