TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 16,000 shares purchased on 09 August 2016, the 12,000 shares purchased on the 11 August 2016, the 11,000 shares purchased on the 12 August 2016, the 17,314 shares purchased on the 17 August 2016, the 20,000 shares purchased on the 18 August 2016, the 30,000 shares purchased on the 19 August 2016 and the 11,308 shares purchased on the 22 August 2016 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 371,823 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 102,734,713 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 371,823 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 102,734,713.
