17/3/2013 13:37 | daniel, Mismanagement and gross incompetence are not criminal offences unless they are associated with fraud, breach of health and safety regulations, money laundering, etc. It is possible that some of the information put out by PDX was fraudulent but it would be difficult to distinguish from incompetent over-optimism. What happened at PDX is small beer compared to what went wrong with the banks. I doubt the authorities will spend much time investigating it. Besides, sending management to prison does nothing for shareholders apart from the satisfaction of seeing them punished. Shareholders are supposedly owners of the company and have the power to throw out the management if it is not performing adequately. However, it is rather late to do that now that the Board have put the staff on notice of redundancy and are trying to sell the assets. The main culprits have gone. John | john of groats
15/3/2013 10:46 | I think that major shareholders should call extra ordinary shareholders meeting and pass resolution to close down all co operations and distribute rest of cash to all shareholders. PDX managers were living great and continue living well on shareholders cash. | a1ord53
15/3/2013 09:49 | I do feel that some people may deserve to go to prison here, if not for mismanagement, then for gross incompetence. It will be abhorrent to do an offer and close down the company and use the money to fund redundancies and pay-off. | daniel

14/3/2013 22:29 | Even Morley has given up. He's lucky he's found a sucker to buy 1.4m shares off him at any money ! Maybe DONK[ey felt so bad at his pumping that he's mortgaged his kennel in Monaco to help him out by increasing his holding. After all, Cenkos said these would be £17 by now !!! | outsizeclothes.com
14/3/2013 22:22 | Fat lady is just clearing her throat for the final hara, it's not good to loose money at the best of times, I suppose those that believed the company info and promoted the company did it in good faith, it's just the technology was not up to scratch or still needed further development. Adios amigos it cha cha time```````¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ | beeezzz

06/3/2013 16:15 | Gclark just a question of curiosity about your comments. "They invested their money and have taken over" is a definitive statement rather than speculative and implies more knowledge with one class of shareholder than what has been released to us mere mortal shareholders. | mulligut
06/3/2013 15:36 | Gclark your two questions have been asked and answered over the last 11 years and 66m invested. It has to be just an asset stripping exercise going on right now with every employee on notice to quit, the new CEO of 4 months quitting at the end of this month. The Chairman telling the world that the technology would be better off in someone elses ownership. Who in their right mind would want to JV with a company, who is for all intents and purposes, shuting up shop? Where is the revenue going to come from? From a Nuclear and Water treatment perspective PDX is in meltdown and underwater. What is left to sell? These are more pertinent and constructive questions. As an accountant nothing in the year end accounts add up to much for me. | mulligut
06/3/2013 13:40 | Wouldn't this technology be great as a diver-safe boat propulsion system? | briangeeee
06/3/2013 12:03 | HALF PRICE | moneyman18
06/3/2013 11:58 | gclark, don't you get it, there is no future, all employees are being layed off, and the IP is being sold if possible. The Company is being wound up. I actully feel the shares are likely to get suspended shortly, as clearly the business is no longer a going concern. | hippo
06/3/2013 11:23 | to their credit, the new team is moving fast, which you have to do in these cases. The original business model wasn't working so they have taken a decision that a new business model is required before it is too late. They must have had this in the back of their minds when they took over very recently, at least as an strategic option. After all they have put in their own funds into this company. So the questions are: 1) is the technology viable commercially - I must admit one of the main reasons I invested was the nuclear JV, and also work with water companies, which all seems to make sense to me, but I am no expert; 2) can the new strategy deliver the revenue and profits. Rather than gloat or recriminate on the past, it would be more useful if there was more, if possible informed and realistic, comment on the future. | gclark
05/3/2013 18:34 | On a day that the worlds stock markets are hitting record highs these guys can't even stay afloat. | mulligut
05/3/2013 12:54 | A long con trick - purchase a patent from Oz and take the city for millions. It'd make a great case-study. How hippo found the stamina to keep going I don't know, I made one comment about perpetual motion machines a year or two ago and the heavens fell in. I popped in a few more times just to marvel at the discourse. So, yes, well done hippo - you may well have saved some folks some money. apad | apad |
