31/1/2018 11:20 | itcm1, PURP seem to be using the old Canadian mining company method of opening new markets to give more hope, so people focus on the 'potential' of the new, and less so on the under-performing old. It works for a while, then people begin to see through it, IMO. | andy
31/1/2018 11:09 | Setting aside the performance of the business I see the biggest risk to PURP the share price as being redemptions from investors fleeing the Woodford open ended funds. His large losers are stacking up, and he has a long tail of similar suspects. Top of his list is IMB, and lets just say the chart doesn't inspire confidence. | hpcg
31/1/2018 11:03 | rog does the fact Woodfood is so big on Purp not worry you given the guys recent track record??? hxxp://citywire.co.u Neil Woodford has bought more shares in Capita (CPI + ) despite fears over the dividend, as the outsourcing group continue to slump. In an update to investors in the LF Woodford Income Focus + fund, Woodford Investment Management said it had bought more shares in December. Be it Friends Provident, his biotech one, Allied Minds or Capita, a theme is emerging that NW seems far too believing in the RNS guff put out by all these companies. I really do see the same picture at Purp. The idea is a sound one but the guff is that it will ever make the 50m a year promised, at least not for a fair few years. Plus the foreign expansion looks highly questionable. Buywell has it. Purp is an ice cream share. It's going to 99. | ltcm1

30/1/2018 16:20 | I suppose aa 6 month 25% loss ranks as a good performance in your eyes given your normal wipeouts/ near wipeouts in globo, quindell. slater and Gordon..... | bobmonkeyhouse
30/1/2018 16:14 | it's called Patient Capital Elnocap You need patience perhaps? clue is in the name people said Warren Buffet has lost the nack, in 2009 even if he has lost the nack, he is undoubtedly one helluva lot better at managing money than our friend, the charming TW | rogthepodge

30/1/2018 15:28 | maybe ask the charming TW for another short thesis like ASOS or Bohoo certainly was boo hoo for him! a true 'shares guru' and hugely successful and proven fund manager (in his eyes only) as he was fired from running others money, if I recall correctly. whereas he has issues with NW, who has a proven track record running others money. Talk about 'chip on his shoulder'! | rogthepodge
30/1/2018 15:24 | blimey Andy you got nothing better to do, now you have taken the hit on PURP? | rogthepodge
30/1/2018 13:59 | You spent the whole day pouring out hate on an annoymous poster you don't & will never know. 35+ posts so far. Take a look at yourself. | bbmsionlypostafter |
