PureTech Health plc

PureTech Founded Entity Akili Integrates First-of-its-Kind Prescription Video Game Treatment with the Virtual World Through Partnership with Roblox

The Roblox vision for bringing people together through shared experiences, plus the Akili commitment to a new era of cognitive medicine, make the companies ideal partners to deliver a reimagined patient experience

PureTech Health plc (Nasdaq: PRTC, LSE: PRTC) ("PureTech" or the "Company"), a clinical-stage biotherapeutics company noted that its Founded Entity, Akili Interactive Labs, Inc. ("Akili"), a leading digital medicine company pioneering the development of cognitive treatments through game-changing technologies, and Roblox (NYSE: RBLX), a global platform bringing millions of people together through shared experiences, today announced a collaboration that connects patients' medical treatments to their favorite virtual worlds.

Through this partnership, Akili and Roblox are introducing new ways for medicine to fit into patients' lives. Initially, the companies will establish an exclusive Roblox rewards exchange tied to Akili's EndeavorRx(R), the first and only prescription video game treatment for children with ADHD, cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (see full indication below). The companies are exploring additional novel approaches and opportunities to engage Akili patients through Roblox integrations.

no one likes 'growth' stocks right now - i get it. what i don't get is this is now valued at possibly 85 to 90% of group consolidated cash as of yr end. bonkers imo. the buy back should get on with it too as surely this is an accretive action for those that hang on in there assuming they cancel the shares once purchased back.

It's strange the low buy back volumes every day, is that a sign that there is very few floating shares to buy? In which case it makes you wonder why the share price basically halved for a reason that I still can't fathom out. Really can't get my head around the markets these days it's really weird this can still be valued at a share price it was sitting at 3 year ago when we had nothing like the progress or cash on the balance sheet we have now. Why this is not on the radar of a large pharma for a takeout is beyond me this would be pocket money to some of the big companies to buy up

Well every day they seem to be buying at a slightly higher average price. Not bad in today's market.

If we don’t get an RNS confirming at least 50,000 shares have been purchased today then what are Jefferies doing, sub 160p is beyond cheap.

I note todays RNS, hopefully Tranche 2 will be used to broker a direct purchase of USD25m worth from the largest shareholder if they remain keen to sell, rather than continually drip feeding the market with stock.

I’m surprised at the fall back today but I agree good for the buyback, will be interesting to see the first buyback RNS, timing, quality and price.

short lived. i guess perversely we want the share price to stay low whilst the buy back takes effect for maximum accretion!

Perhaps that’s actually the best strategy, the market seems to struggle to understand Puretechs value so sell the already IPO’d founded entities down to zero, completing the exit of those investments, will be able to buyback a huge percentage of the company market cap if the share price stays sub 250p.

Still have the royalty upside from the founded entities, but focus on the development of the wholly owned pipeline.

LOL, If you are reading this Bharatt, well done on the 50m, another USD100m buyback this summer on Vedanta IPO would be good, and/or flog the remaining 5.6% Karuna.

Share buyback would be best whilst the share price is at these levels, given excess cash they should start now with say USD50m.
