nice to see some director buying albeit they are not exactly re-mortgaging the house. i am minded to do a 25% top up to avoid the illusion of dilution due to the raise. thoughts?

to be fair, the cash burn has meant this is sensible imo. if they are going into bat with commercialisation deals with sponsors kind of helps if you are in a position of strength to be a co-sponsor. in short, the dilution is unwelcome but is a cost of increased optionality. as such, being a minority investor, i have to be supportive of that strategy. go get em puretech team.

my takes were chances of two more ipos in next 6 months. they are also going to go coy on valuation methodology given sensitivity around pricing on ipo and second rounds - all makes sense to me but will prove hard for analysts to model which could result in vol in share price. i want to sit tight for a decade on this one.

nice lead article in the economist talking about the digitalisation of pharma and healthcare. surely this is the best pure play on that theme? no pun on the word pure.

Can’t find that Gelesis information, perhaps enquire with the company directly.

Is there any news when Gelesis is going to be put into production. Showed decent efficacy at stage 3 trials. People seem to be sleeping on PureTech, three products about to be launched with serious potential.

lets see if restorbio pops on day one - my guess the free float will hit $100m of circa $17 per share!

I suppose that selling down resTORbio for cash will reasure the mkt that the model works and that dilution isn't a fact of life, as has so often been the case with these incubator style cos.

i guess from what i have read nav is circa £2.50 minimum so i am relatively relaxed about holding on for now. guess the extent of the cash burn eating into nav is something we will need to monitor.
