All depends upon value of major swamp investment........... which is even less quoted/traded than it was and has lost a senior executive in last few days.
I am not buying any more until there is greater clarity but equally I am holding in hope rather than expectation.

i am relaxed and think these are oversold

over the next few months i expect the debt to be repaid and a return of cash should follow shortly afterwards (dont forget the promose of a defd 5p payment)

with surplas cash generated over following months i would expect buy backs by the end of the year which would should lift the share price.

petro-algae could change the whole situation and whilst i find it very difficult to value i dont believe it is one giant scam as some suggest.

in short i see the upside far greater than the downside from these levels.

Nav out today, p.algae valuation remains the same till the alleged ipo. Company claims to have visability on some holdings, but seems to be a stuck record. Do you foresee any return of cash to shareholders at all any time soon bisiboy?

i hope not
i have visited the management and they seam sound enough
nobody believes the petro algae valuation though hence it is virtually dicounted in the current share price..
think the downside is fairly limited at this price and if the market is wrong about petro a it could go a lot higher.

Current share price suggests that the market, in the UK at least, doesn't rate this highly at all.

I tend to agree that the Petro Algae share price seems ridiculous. But with such a huge potential market it would be impossible to set a realistic price on fundamentals. The business doesn't seem to be a complete scam as they keep persuading other businesses to sign up to licence agreements eg Indian Oil Corp and GTB Power. Fortunately the PSD share price seems to be predominantly based on the cash flow and assets of the loan book. Petro Algae is er a bit of scum on top?

Let's hope they can do a deal next year to sell on the holding or split the business in such a way that we can realise the value of Petro Algae before anyone else notices that there might be a problem.

In the recent results, there is comments about a possible realisation of the PetroAlgae Inc investment. Any thoughts?

Nice move up today on significant NAV rise. Still on a 50% discount though - hopefully we should now see a rise to more realistic levels.

Heading back towards £4? Looks worth a punt.
This from today's S Telegraph:

"Fund managers are also keen on education and training companies as recovery plays. Three feature in the top 10 - Spring Group, which has slipped from more than 160p earlier this year to 119p, but which last week won two new contracts with Network Rail, PSD Group (266p) and Robert Walters (121.5p)."

Agree in part but looking back at PSD they seem to have had that cash for a while in a perfect acquisition market and I do not see any acquisition news on the RNS although apologies if I have missed it.

What they do have, I agree IMHO, is credible management working hard to make the group leaner and more profitable. Could that be grooming behaviour?

PSD would be a perfect target for someone wanting to buy into new area where they do not have the inhouse expertise or perhaps knowledge of the geographical markets PSD serves. My reservation would be a PE of 123 is mightly big and could put off many.

Merger rather than victim is an option though?

Understand HVN announced acquisition of US IT recruiter recently? Not sure whether that has anything to do with the price of fish but hey , thought I would mention it

Regards

Stephen

I think you'll find it's always thought of itself the other way round:- well-regarded management team and £25m cash in the bank; when 'consolidation' occurs it sees itself as the aggressor rather than the victim.
