EPS consensus of about 190p for next yr look solid. Not sure this will revisit £36 in the near future but happy to hold.

I think you can safely call that a solid statement. I am surprised the share price is only up 45p this morning. The corporation tax hit is the only moderator in some stunning numbers. Barely a whisper about Brexit.
Highlights

Strong group profit performance and further dividend increase

-- First half adjusted profit before tax(1) up 17.6% to GBP148.9m (2015: GBP126.6m) and adjusted earnings per share(1) up 10.7% to 77.9p (2015: 70.4p).

-- First half statutory profit before tax up 48.9% to GBP165.4m (2015: GBP111.1m) and basic earnings per share up 39.2% to 86.0p (2015: 61.8p).

-- Stable annualised return on assets(2) of 15.7% (2015: 15.6%), after absorbing the impact of the 8% bank corporation tax surcharge on Vanquis Bank's profits from 1 January 2016.

-- Interim dividend per share up 10.2% to 43.2p (2015: 39.2p).

Hit that limit - lowest buy of the day so far ; I like that.
This Brexit business seems to me a classic opportunity to make a few quid on the market ; the oft quoted statement that the market hates uncertainty is a bit self-fulfilling.
If this is really the case then whatever the vote the market will bounce up again. Obviously some stocks more than others , but it seems particularily bizarre to me that some stocks like Utilities have little exposure to the potential changes , yet have also dropped.
Prov is basically a UK company with Sterling loans , having long divested the overseas components to IPF. The wider economic uncertainties obviously have a bearing here , but they have since this business started all those yrs ago.

I think any negatives compared to 6 months ago were already included in the price.
At this price it's a bargain, but the market is twitchy, especially until the EU vote is out of the way.

"Vanquis remains the key growth driver for this business, and with customer numbers growth slowing this will be negative for this high expectation stock. YoY Vanquis Bank customer numbers have increased 6.2%, but this compares to 18% for this quarter last year and 9.9% for FY2015. YoY receivables growth of 18% is also lower that the 25% reported in Q12015 ..."

Looks like the IMS is being badly received by market this morning , for reasons that elude me.

Outlook

All of the group's businesses have made a good start to the year, trading in line with or above internal plans and the sound credit quality across all three divisions provides the foundation for another good performance in 2016.

Looking more enticing at £32 , but they are still up £10 on a year ago. Not buying yet.

Sold half of mine today. Very good company. The other half are now at an effective zero cost, so will continue to hold hopefully long-term. They do look a tad pricey now though. Bought some Non-Standard Finance with the proceeds.

Noted , but presumably the tracker funds don't wait until that date to buy in or the MMs would stuff them.
