Sometimes executives are advised to sell as a means of diversification. I wouldn't look too much into the sale.

Maybe you're right but in my mind someone either sells shares because they need the cash or because they believe there is no upside potential in the share price Could well be the former, in which case it's none of our business. There is a possible third option in that he may be planning on departing and wants to drip his holding to the market prior to departure, only time will tell if that's the case. I wonder whether he has a minimum shareholding as part of corporate governance requirements/contract of employment.

Looking at his holdings , he did get them as a rights issue in April and he still holds about 340k shares so probably cannot read much into it.

....maybe he'll buy them back now at £6.35 and make a £40k profit ?

yes that is true and a big old chunk of money as well - although ...he is an accountant not a share trader. Don,t think anybody is expecting this to rocket up in 3 months but prospective yield in a couple of years is good so long as they make steady progress

Needs to break 700p, serious resistance. Good turn around but we may see a few pull backs on FCA industry news.

The IMS is cautiously optimistic , a few positives. Home Credit is the crucial area for profitability in the long term and should return to profit this yr. Hold and forget.

There will always be less well off people needing companies like Provident Wad so I see a bright future once the business is sorted and costs in line with earnings.

A thousand posts in 3 months last year , back to the usual quiet BB. Slow recovery or slow death?

96% uptake of the rights issue , no date given for the payment for lapsed rights. I never got round to selling mine , not sure what the closing payment will be after the costs are extracted by the bankers.
