03/6/2020 15:21 | So, it's farewell to the entire West of Ireland licences, or about to be. | steelwatch
03/6/2020 15:17 | the big loss is due to impairment of the assets so it is only Barryroe left in the books. Only technical accounting impact - minor cash flow. | srvsrv
03/6/2020 15:03 | The loss last year is absolutely staggering considering all we had to show for it was almost going out of business. I still can't understand why some legal attempt hasn't been made to recover some of it for 'breach of contract'. Perhaps I have missed comments/reasons as to why this hasn't been undertaken but EURO26 million is no mean sum to have been cheated out of. Has anyone any idea if the company has been asked about this. regards | peaeff

03/6/2020 14:09 | 2019 Annual Results out, I see Angus is on his way. ToR always had the investors best interests at heart.😒 Related party transactions Mr. Tony O'Reilly, Chief Executive, held a service contract, effective from 1 April 2017, with the Company in respect of services outside of the Republic of Ireland through a company beneficially owned by him, Kildare Consulting Limited. This contract was renewed on 1 April 2019. The renewed contract was a for a two-year duration and was subject to a one-year notice's period. On the 6 December 2019, this contract was terminated by the Company. The emoluments and fees payable under the above-mentioned contract amounted to EUR865,950 for the year ended 31 December 2019. The above figure includes a settlement payment of EUR448,500 for the early termination of his contract. | roadster750
02/6/2020 11:19 | PF, Our new leader has started so well and long may it continue. Pat and Angus deserve much credit securing Alan's services for what looked like a rapidly sinking ship at the AGM last September. Tone did a decent job putting a portfolio together but he lacked the skill of developing it. Alan has articulated very clearly what he wants to achieve here and we are back on track. | hermana3

02/6/2020 10:31 | Hi all I think the one thing that PVR has taught me over these many years is that one shouldn't get ahead of oneself. My investment in this company has sucked out of me much more than I ever intended and I suspect I'm not alone. That has occurred due to my reaction to promises made by our previous CEO and the stupidity of believing them. FTJ you're right to be cautious. Even now no agreeme4nt has been signed sealed and delivered, although the signs are favourable, at this stage, that things are on track once more. Every share certificate I hold has negative equity but I am the eternal optimist otherwise I would have been out of here years ago and I also don't like to lose any more than necessary. I still can't grasp the fact that such a 'reputed' treasure, such as Barryroe, has met so many problems, one way and another, over the years. Things are still much in the balance before the ultimate goal is reached and these early steps will not inspire me to invest any further. Good luck to all those who have come aboard at these lower SP's, your fortune could well await. Just what I thought 9 years ago. regards | peaeff
01/6/2020 18:00 | Carbon Capture in Offshore Ireland has been discussed a few times over the years but hopefully Providence Resources under the leadership of Alan Linn can make it happen. | hermana3
01/6/2020 15:21 | Interesting story from Sept last year. Why export the carbon captured when you can send it offshore Ireland. | roadster750
30/5/2020 09:07 | I think recovery in the share price is going to be a more gradual process in the short term. | contrarymary
29/5/2020 22:45 | We both got it wrong, raisethestake. PVR only opened slightly up and closed down on Thursday's closing price. | papillon

28/5/2020 19:31 | Jeez, you need to change your handle to glumtimejonny.ԅ | roadster750
28/5/2020 19:20 | mcbull, from the recent currency interview, I ask Fjelland who the backers are. “We will say that when we have all our formalities in order. We have an agreement with them, but we need to transfer that agreement across to Barryroe basically. We would like to have that signed before we go on [and name the members of the consortium],” he says. So I would think news is imminent. | roadster750
28/5/2020 19:17 | Maybe Schlumberger. SpotOn share an office building with COSL | druidinvestor
28/5/2020 19:16 | As far as I personally am concerned...I am not very excited about this news, which for long term investors (who have lost their shirt already)..makes little difference. Will probably be heavily traded tomorrow..bought in the morning by traders who will book some decent profits for a song that by around lunchtime..will have diminished.watch and watch out for the ridiculos opening price and the so called tree shake at about 11.30.too little too late imo. | funtimejonny |
