Cep,And since the market hates uncertainty we are squirming in the quicksand again. Chairman Pat convinced Alan to sign up here as CEO and we have to hope his winning pitch becomes our reality.....

The whole of UK/GB politics is a basket case disaster caused by too much bogus immigration. However, business is business and unless there is another pointless judicial review, nothing much can change. So imo, it's a matter of finding a partner. As you rightfully say FTJ, it can't get any worse than it has been for the last 8 years. Something will be an improvement on nothing, and a continuing nothing is the same as with the previous politics meaning no worse. Hopefully onward and upwards from here.

How does the election change anything? There are contracts and legislation in place protecting current licences for exploration and development

Let us hope Alan has a partner in his pocket by now as this election result wont help him and his team in marketing Barryroe and other prospects.

God Help us! A bunch of inexperienced socialists are holding the key cards now. Accompanied by others of the same ilk who owe their seats to transfer votes!

No party can explain where the 100's of billions will investment will come from to support a full transition to carbon neutral. A lot of the cheap solutions are just green washing - if the country is serious about climate change it will cost a bomb.

Difficult to tell with Mary, she's played cards close to her chest on climate change. They strongly support a transition to carbon neutral but in a just way, they don't want to punish and recognise jobs, sustainability at risk if they act too rashly. So who knows.

Doubt it as she has moved onto other issues. Fortunately she is a moving feast and never stays on one issue for long.....

Abu, Anything is possible these days in politics. Was pleased to see our man Donald got the last laugh with pious Pelosi and them tight assed Democratic senators.

They cant ban licences retrospectively. If they tried that one the legal eagles will sue the Government for damages. Very unlikely them hypocritical self serving greens will be fouling the cabinet....
