Pap, timelines/estimates/wink and nods from TOR have proven to be historically unreliable at best. My hope is that the strengthened board may have focused the employees statements, social media comment, Interviews, RNS's and throwaway remarks as best as possible. Also, relying on two Governments consents is an unknown (however that I would hope was taken into account for the Qtr. 3 promise). Unless you're relying on this deal to pay a bill I'd try to cool the heels until Christmas if I were you.

That's an interesting point Raise...that the TOR interview on Thursday may have sparked off the substantial number of buys in LOGP on Friday. Obviously if Barryroe deal goes final as promised by end September, then that will dramatically improve the prospects of Lansdowne and also the share price But I would have expected that there would be more interest in PVR as well, given thst they have 40% interest vs LOGP 10%. Also the fact that the Chinese may well do some farmin deals on, say,Newgrange or Spanish Point.
Well..end of this week sees us in the second half of September so hopefully this deal will go over the line on schedule and we will see the light st the end of a very long tunnel!

I think all the buys on Friday over at LOGP were due to Juniors interview with Business and Finance which was on the Thursday. The golden glow did state that Barryroe would be developed. He made eye contact with the camera a couple of moments after he said it, in my mind to get acknowledgement for stating and I quote "We are developing Barryroe". I feel it's close myself. I could do with a good monetisation. I deserve it as we all do at this stage. Let's hope it's a bumper announcement. He can go back to the sunbed then.He will have earned it. GLA

FTJ, hope the legal eagles working on this deal know we holders are "on a promise".
