21/8/2018 22:45 | Thanks for that information, steelwatch & hermana. | papillon
21/8/2018 20:05 | Pap, PVR once had a wedge in Nigeria(Aje field) and shared offices in The Far East. Think they were using offices in Sir Anthony's Independent Group there. Expecting Pat and Angus to be looking for production or near production there.... | hermana3
21/8/2018 16:47 | pap - not that specific, but I take your point with ex-Tullow men onboard. Video in the header after c.11 minutes - 11:20 | steelwatch
21/8/2018 14:18 | Hi steelwatch. That international venture TOR alluded to was presumably in Africa? I seem to remember some PVR connection to oil exploration in Africa in the long distant past. | papillon
21/8/2018 12:38 | pap - many moons since, PVR had an office in either Indonesia, Malaysia, or Singapore, though naught came of it, thou TOR did allude to outside chance of some international venture more recently. | steelwatch
21/8/2018 12:31 | My target share price for LOGP when the RNS announcing the deal is closed is around 3p. My target share price for PVR is around 20p. In other words I'm hoping for both LOGP & PVR sp's to approximately double following that RNS announcing closure of the deal. I'm convinced that it's odds on that the deal will be closed. As always this is what I HOPE for! Fingers crossed as always! PS. My target sp's for both LOGP & PVR is based on their charts, specifically EWT. | papillon
21/8/2018 12:17 | Chances are it has NO connection to "our" APEC, Ftj, since the link shows a whole list of worldwide companies registered with the name of APEC. It seems to be a very popular name for companies!! Personally I'd say it had NO connection to "our" APEC and even if it did what would be the significance to the Barryroe deal? None that I can see. It's got some investors excited on the lse bb, but then some investors love clutching at straws, especially those that post on the lse bb. I hope that the Barryroe deal is closed in Q3, as promised by TOR, but Q4 wouldn't surprise me. TOR has history when it comes to making over optimistic forecasts. | papillon
20/8/2018 20:10 | There's only one Richie!!!! | hermana3
20/8/2018 16:48 | Interesting post on the LSE board just now about a new company just been incorporated by APEC. Any link to this poxy project I wonder? | funtimejonny
20/8/2018 12:08 | FTJ....We should not be too impatient, we are still within the planned period of this quarter. If I am not mistaken, if there was any deviation from the schedule, Stock Exchange rules would require the company to issue a market update. So hold tight and keep our fingers crossed!!! | abudhabi123
20/8/2018 08:34 | Fatso fanning? lol | hermana3
19/8/2018 14:29 | TOR running in the 2.30 at Pontefract. ridden by Fanning Failed again last of four. | peaeff
18/8/2018 20:58 | Too bloody right! | funtimejonny
17/8/2018 14:59 | We have had plenty of time to wrap this up. Chinese got a cracking deal for themselves. Time to reel them in or go and re open our data room again. They are probably sneaky enough to try and pick us up on the cheap. They would want to realise that they need PVR intact to be the Irish face for the drilling campaign. Remember what they did to CRND if anyone was in there. Eventually took control after prolonged 150 million MOUs. Hoping here for news next week. Long time coming for no reason. Time moving on. Rigs, targets, permits permissions, time frames equipment supply ships to be organised etc... PVR spends 100s of millions it's about time we saw a return. I'm getting fed up of waiting myself and I know the art of patience. | raisethestake1
17/8/2018 10:13 | Glad everybody feels the same about this. Its about time that auld windbag pulled his finger out and started delivering. | funtimejonny
17/8/2018 09:43 | Still another 6 weeks of torture to endure before the THIRD QUARTER expires but in true PVR fashion we will probably be made to wait until the bitter end or alternatively receive an RNS hinting that it may take a little longer. Can you imagine what that would do to the share price on the day. Prove my pessimistic thoughts unfounded please Tony and bring this soap opera to a successful end preferably ON TIME. regards all | peaeff
17/8/2018 08:29 | Jonny, Tis torture alright! | hermana3
17/8/2018 07:25 | Another week gone by without any progress announced re finalising the Barryroe deal. | funtimejonny
16/8/2018 19:35 | Riley, Nice spot that. | hermana3
16/8/2018 18:25 | Aretha Franklin "Queen Of Soul" RIP RESPECT. GD | greatfull dead
16/8/2018 09:37 | Chinese officialdom isn't always that fast, can take a while for things to happen, that's all. And a deal with a minor minnow a long way from home isn't exactly going to be top priority. Not worried. Currently in Shangri-la, nothing moves very quickly here, either. | riley9
15/8/2018 21:00 | Herm the two scenarios as I see them. The paperwork wasn't completed in sufficient detail to the extent that it needed clarification(s) by either jurisdiction. Either or both the jurisdictions are reluctant with the deal and it's players. Hopefully I will be proven incorrect very very soon. | 1cagney |
