Think out partner on Barryroe is going to be Mfdevco. Aker one of the most important players in the consortium has recently raised 137m. Nu oil which owns 50% of mfdevco has just had AGM and told shsreholders that marginal field projects are imminent and subject to periods of exclusivity whilst things are brought to a conclusion. These Chaps will be able to get oil out of ground very economically. Also believe they will push on with Helvick and Dunmore asap as well. Remember Alan Minty of Nuoil saying a couple of months ago that a major marginal field deal was in the bag in 2014 but the potential partner ran into serious survival difficulties (sounds familiar) but that serious negotiations had commenced again. Nuoil told shsreholders to join the dots when pushed for the name of the marginal field project which they describe as transformational. So my bet is Mfdevco

Best not discuss DT on this thread. You have your opinions of the man. I have mine. Yes they differ hugely but that will not change unless DT demonstrates he is a good president of the USA. To date IMHO he has done the reverse.

GD, My bet is that it is already finalised but the Lawyers will go over the deal with a fine comb as the memory of Transocean v Providence Court Case is fresh on their minds. Deal is likely to be fairly complicated as drilling/development deals are very different than Exploration farmin deals.

I totally agree with that last comment Herm. I am quietly confident that SB will deliver a good outcome for all Lanners shareholders. Just a little surprised today is so quiet at PVR...considering the farm out RNS is probably already written and ready to go once the signatures are on the contract.
And the deal could be finalised as early as this afternoon!
