Steel: Excerpt from Announcement 7th June

"Option Agreement with Cairn for 20% Working Interest Providence and Sosina have signed an Option Agreement (the “Option”) with Capricorn Ireland Limited (“Capricorn221;), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cairn Energy PLC (“Cairn”). Under the terms of the Option, Capricorn has the right to farm-in to a 20% working interest in LO 16/27 from Providence & Sosina. The Option can be exercised by Capricorn within 60 days of the completion (plugging and abandoning) of the upcoming 53/6-A well on Frontier Exploration Licence 2/14"
Misleading one way or another.Anyway, I can wait. Cheers.

herm: Wouldn't each announcement be considered commercially sensitive information?

They will probably wait to update us with both announcements.

ftj: Well your half right. TOTAL has 60 working days but Cairn have 60 days according to the commercial update announcements. So it seems I can count but can't read. Ha Ha!

I think you got the date wrong. It's working days surely...not calendar days?

By my reckoning today is the last day for exercise of options by Total and Cairn. So should see an RNS on Monday either way. ( Unless I can't count and got the date wrong)

1cag,He has found the light and he puts it down to serious research! Was always a bit surprised in the pervasive repitition of his previous position when multiple independent reports said he was guilty of drinking his piddle!

Lads. This 'new' info has been in the public domain since the end of October. So it's no data room secret. I don't foresee an RNS until much closer to the drill if at all. The only mystery here is Jimmy's conversion 24 days after the info is published. Of course I hope I'm wrong about the RNS

FTJ,Wee Nally is a "bon viveur" for sure. Likes his boats, cheroots, horses and fine wines a like someone else with a bit(not nearly enough) of "skin in the game" in this tiddler.

FTJ,Expect this new info is being shared with interested parties and the brokers can keep their lafers up on their oak panelled desks for the time being. Bet Joe Nally&Co are lying more than a wee bit low either way after the em er drilling season of 2017....

Indeed....but if he is right about this groundbreaking new seismic and the validation it brings to Barry....then this is an auspicious moment. As somebody remarked earlier, PVR & LOGP ought to get their brokers to issue an update about this as it appears to derisk the whole project and points towards a very successful outcome at the end of the day. Time to get that Bolly back in the fridge Herm. It has probably acquired vintage status by now!
