euclid5: Thanks for the post moosh2: ate: 3/6/14 Broker: Westhouse Company: Proton Power Systems Share price: 7p Target price: 15p Recommendation: Buy Westhouse says that its AIM broking client hydrogen fuel cell and uninterruptible power supply systems supplier Proton Power Systems has an experienced management team and the financial backing of its major shareholder. There should be an initial contribution from solar battery storage operations in 2014. Revenues are expected to more than quadruple to £4.99 million this year but there will be a significant cash outflow during 2014. A trebling of revenues to £15.3 million is expected in 2015 and that should be enough for Proton to breakeven. All this depends on the securing of several large contracts. Net debt was £15.4 million at the end of 2013 and this is expected to increase to £22.2 million by the end of 2014. Another cash outflow is expected in 2015 even though the company is expected to breakeven. The major shareholder and chief executive Dr Faiz Nahab has lent the company €18.9 million and is willing to increase the loan. However, the fact that the chief executive has a 90 per cent shareholding restricts the liquidity of the shares. Westhouse has set a discounted cash flow-based target of 15p a share and has initiated a buy recommendation. The broker believes that news of contract wins could drive the share price in the near-term.
steveb11: Watch the director unload some shares and this will tumble to a more realistic share price of about 7p
sportbilly1976: shows how much the mgmt knew regarding the share price - selling a third of his holding at 2.5p six weeks ago
mattjos: bit of a daft comment to make. Highest share price for 4 years and 300% gain from recent lows.
ertugrul: i will add more shares when got cash, this has massive potential and will look forward to see a big contract and share price to touch double digit figures PPR my previous holding was in same position, it was trading between 3-4p and I was only buyer on board, one big contract changed everything it gone over 20p... Same will repeat here, I have no doubt
euclid5: doubt he will let me have that info as it is confidential - so will wait & see what gets announced & how the market reacts to the share price
euclid5: Ertugral - also worth asking the CEO the below if you can: The share price has been stuck in the range of 1p-3p for many years now. What can shareholders expect in terms of newsflow over the next few months. And is the BoD's seeking ways of making it's shares more liquid as one shareholder alone owns more than 94% of the shares.
euclid5: Issue with PPS is: The BoD's don't seem to concerned at having such a low share price - been in the 2p-4p range for a few years They have not instructed a new updated broker Note to highlight the potential future of their fuell cell products No mention of how near / time frame to commercialise their F Cells over 94% owned by one s/holder - city may see this as a PLC run like a private co. Lack of liquidity - about 34m fre float shares What is the potentail size of the L Transport bus commercial deal - a few hundred thousand pounds or a few million? Erurgraul - just posting "London buses are firmly in our sights" is a little short of detail to be honest with you - but thanks anyway - is that all he mentioned in his reply? Thanks Mr E
ertugrul: if deal comes from the below news share price will blow up guys
hectorp: DellaDella, this may be keeping the share price down: "For the first half year in 2010 the Group secured additional loans of EUR3.24 million from its major shareholder Roundstone Properties Limited. The loans are convertible at a price of 2 pence per share." ( from earlier news) so why buy this share when a main shareholder can walk in for 2p when they wish? Also this company goes through cash ten times more than its income. That must not persist. But I rather like the potential so will place on close watch.
