13/5/2015 14:30 | Thankfully only one batch and it was the internal routine checks at swancote so hopefully not a big impact. It wasn't someone eating metal. | metier9
13/5/2015 14:21 | Ouch. This one has been blighted again. I hate the uncertainty and the recall couldn't have come at a worse time. C'mon Produce Investments catch yourself, it isn't a hot potato you know! | mach100
13/5/2015 07:00 | Certainly an interesting share price recovery. I was somewhat fortunate to sell my small holding at between 265p and 275p. Not sure about re-buying albeit its now up 25% from the bottom. | shanklin
12/5/2015 17:23 | Very heavy volume over the last two days including two late reported trades of 300k and 250k. Might be an institution buying in here on the recovery. All buys this afternoon at 152p+ so it appears we are gaining traction | mach100
12/5/2015 16:35 | Not so sure about that Shanklin still over capacity with imports hitting prices which in turn will cause some adjustments in volume as has been said before the weather plays a big part determining prices. Continuing to climb today.. | battlebus2
11/5/2015 06:50 | Is the productive capacity for UK potatoes reducing? Based on the company's statement that UK demand for potatoes is reducing, I had assumed this was a necessary pre-condition for strong prices especially if the crops are "bumper" as suggested above. | shanklin
10/5/2015 11:30 | Yes, starting to look encouraging. Hopefully a better H2 and they will bounce back again next year. | topvest
10/5/2015 09:53 | Nice to see 150p being paid twice just after the ask was raised. Very good recovery from its low of 119p in February. Showing no signs of stopping just yet so I am hopeful this can move higher again. A lot depending on the May harvest of course. | mach100
10/5/2015 09:17 | Yes topvest and Mach100 and by all accounts the main season has started well and the timely rainfall should produce a bumper crop... Export volumes increase, and everything is well set for the main promotion period that will run from the beginning of May. | battlebus2
01/5/2015 18:42 | Yes, looking better. See their Jersey potatoes have well and truly hit the supermarket shelves. Higher margin business given they retail at £2 for a small bag. That was surely a great acquisition - time will tell. | topvest
01/5/2015 12:19 | Continuing to edge higher | battlebus2
29/4/2015 22:05 | Yes BB, looks like we have some rain and the share price is edging back up. May I suppose is crucial as another profit warning would knock us for six while a good harvest would help us recover some lost ground. | mach100
29/4/2015 20:48 | Continuing to recover and another director buy with the NED Sir David Nash buying his first shares. | battlebus2
29/4/2015 06:18 | Thanks Mach, good to see a 25k buy at 140 reported late this morning. | battlebus2
27/4/2015 21:54 | The weather has been very dry over the last three weeks with only a couple of mm of rain last Friday night. The lighter soils in the West of the Island are particularly dry and teams have been irrigating where possible. Rain is forecast this weekend, and it will help all crops bulk up a bit more. Export volumes have been steady, and everything is well set for the main promotion period that will run from the beginning of May. hxxp://www.jerseyroy Nice to see the share price increasing. Looks like we could use some rain. Be good to have some rain over the coming bank hols. | mach100
27/4/2015 11:22 | Another move up :)) | battlebus2
21/4/2015 09:10 | Nice bounce this morning :)) | battlebus2
20/4/2015 09:51 | *sigh* you need to read more RNSs. | metier9
20/4/2015 08:58 | Can't see a bounce. If anything another profits warning. There's still a massive glut from the the 2014 crop in particular from Europe. Never seen prices so low. hxxp://www.potato.or Compare the price now to same period 2014 and 2013 its astonishing. | mathewawood
16/4/2015 11:03 | Looks like we are about to bounce, last chance at these levels imv next stop 150 :)) | battlebus2
13/4/2015 10:51 | Good to see a little blue, could be the next leg up... | battlebus2
31/3/2015 17:46 | Jersey Royal Company. JRC. | battlebus2
31/3/2015 17:13 | Quoted The cash is about the same as last year but with a lot higher dividend this year. The Tern site was sold post period end so add £2m to the accounts. The Jersey acquisition benefits will start in May. I do wonder if the admin costs already contain some of the Jersey work which would imply the results would of been better considering the next half we get the income. WHY WILL JERSEY START IN MAY? The big money made in Jersey is now. Today we were selling at 1.50 a lb less a 10% margin that's 1.35 back to the company. Of course transport etc but at £3000.00 a ton gross this is the time to make the cash. Product short for Easter so we are asking 2.00 a lb tomorrow nets out 1.80 or 4032 a ton. April is the biggest Jersey month and it all winds down in May. Does anyone have any idea which part /company they bought out? JPMO were the biggest with H and H a close second but the Supermarkets are direct now I think. Tiger | castleford tiger
30/3/2015 19:25 | Could turn out to be a hidden gem. | battlebus2 |
