rambutan2: [...] Being blocked from linking to Pro active investors piece, so here is the last bit, with Numis concuring with me on Italy... House broker Numis Securities is sticking with its full-year forecasts of underlying earnings (EBITDA) of £0.3mln on sales of £10.6mln. The company has recently seen its technology platform get the green light from the Italian regulator, which means it is now able to start offering its White Label services in Italy, offering "considerable upside potential" in the second half of the financial year. "As the mix of business continues to shift in favour of B2B, in Italy in particular, we believe growth will accelerate and volatility reduce. The transition of online casino gambling from desktop to mobile is still in its infancy and Probability is well-positioned to benefit," Numis said.
trentendboy: Indeed. A distressed institutional seller is often good news for the small investor looking for a bargain. Could be an easy 50 percent or more. Time to load up the ISA again.
rambutan2: TEB, I believe that there is likely a non notifiable overhang being drip fed into the market. Most frustrating for both company (which is in a close period) and investors. Hopefully the results will be released before too long and help get things moving north.
trentendboy: Good articles. US news will see a rerating and if US investors get a sniff they will also chase it higher. This share moves in big percentages so cheap shares will be hard to find down the line
looby loo: Nigel Wray is one of the star speakers on the main stage of the UK Investor Show tomorrow. Perhaps he might mention what shares he bought this week:
trentendboy: As predicted - a share swap - Blackrock sell 2 million shares Nigel Wray. Good to bring on board an active investor. Always a shame to lose some Blackrock support although they still hold a fair chuck. This has to be seen as good news. The question is whether this was a stock overhang or just Nigel getting a good deal. Be impossible to pick up that quantity without buying from a large holder. To spend over a million quid on PBTY shares certainly shows faith in the company. Might follow him in at this price
trentendboy: Thanks. Your views match my own. Being already overweight pbty is the classic investors dilemma. To diversify or specialise
lucky_punter: Specialist software firm Probability (LON:PBTY) has raised £2.8mln from institutional investors, in an oversubscribed placing, as it pursues its growth strategy.
