It looks like it's still in channel and this would be a decent entry point, or point to add, if prepared to wait 12-18 months. The business outlook doesn't appear different to me. It's the wider market having a fold-back and PHD is going with it. Henderson don't help as I wouldn't be surprised to find they are lightening their holding. One of the downsides of a large fund as a holder with it's own agenda/plan.

Not looking good here, chaps! We should now be breaching £2, not £1.

Very little volume! Good News should see some upward pressure.

PJ, they are probably just balancing their holdings or selling when they feel it's run ahead.

With such low trading volumes anything they do will have an outsized impact on the price.

I think they will continue to sell down but perhaps at higher prices as the story unfolds, to optimise their returns. 150p, 170p etc.

We are slaves to a large holder in a thinly traded stock. To some degree, if they want to sell down, they are trapped too unless they can find some volume buyers. They are obviously in no rush.

Sentiment I would suggest and renewed valuation.

When they were selling it was post brexit and pre the trading statement which reinforced the outlook.

In addition I do believe they are selling still but there is also a buyer. If you track buys and sells (the larger ones) they always seem to get picked up in similar amounts by someone else ie all of these late reported 25k and 10k trades.

Its just my thought on this.

On a final note the assumption is henderson are selling all when they could have simply been reducing their exposure under their own rules.

Henderson were selling at 109.75p back in August... why are they now waiting for 150p?!

Likely to hang around a while before surge upwards. A few months perhaps. Henderson will be lightening on any move up towards 150p+.

from techmarketview:

PROACTIS, the Wetherby-based provider of spend control and e-Procurement solutions, formally reported full year figures (to end July), showing revenue up 13% to £19.4m and EBITDA up 10% to £5.3m, in line with its earlier update. EBITDA margin was 16.6%, slightly down on 2014/5.

Organic growth was 7%, with the Due North acquisition of February this year adding £1m to the top line. Due North also contributed £325k of EBITDA and 300 customers, as well as 17 new names since it joined the Group. PROACTIS has made four acquisitions over the past couple of years and M&A remains a key plank in its strategy, management aiming for average organic growth of 10%, supplemented by 15% points from M&A.

The underlying business of supplying spend control and procurement software continues apace, adding 46 new customers, about 10%, to this operation’s customer roll. Two thirds of these new customers signed subscription-based, Saas contracts. Development spend here continues at over £2m p.a. The overseas business made progress, with the Phoenix-based auctions business advancing by c.15% in dollar terms. The deal with Sopra Steria offers additional potential.

PROACTIS’s other growth vector is the embryonic supply chain network, where Screwfix, Flintshire County Council and P&O Ferrymasters are foundation customers, accessing e-procurement, electronic trading, accelerated payment and improved supplier management services. It is still early days, with a key management goal for 2016/7 being to get these initial customers up and running and to add another half-dozen customers and their suppliers to the ecosystem.

The PROACTIS management can justifiably talk of good progress in their four strategic themes; adding new customers, building customer relationships and share of wallet, supplementing growth through M&A, and building the customer supply chain ecosystem. We would expect them to deliver continued progress throughout the current year.

they have had the bounce from 115p. i think alot depends. on fincap helping to clear the Henderson overhang. Investec appear to be buying, but more institutions required.

Interesting reaction with small investors clearing. Don't people read the results. There are some key phrases in there that are very encouraging.I think we will here more on the M&A front very soon.

It all reads pretty well. impressive that after four acquisitions in two years they have debt of only £0.5m. generating lots of cash.

It doesn't look expensive to me, for a recurring revenue business. i guess that it is an acceleration in organic growth from the supplier side work that may get people excited. Currently organic growth of 7% is okay, but not spectacular.

Results as expected. this looks encouragin from outlook.

In concurrence, the Group's opportunity to access and deliver value added services to a new customer grouping, the suppliers of its 800 clients, has moved forward substantially and in line with its plan. The scope for growth of this opportunity is extremely exciting and we look forward to updating the market with further developments in due course.

The Board is very pleased with the Group's sustained level of growth and momentum and are confident that we are in a strong position to continue and accelerate even further.

It's just taking one of its breathers before a move up based on a stronger and stronger forward look. They are well embedded and risk is massively reduced compared to when they started to change model about 5 years, back.

Congratulations to the management for having a vision and executing on it successfully. A good little British company that looked outwards from early on and has a massive market it is able to address.
