thanks for your comments, agree that 1% of AUM is highly conservative but best to build up...

so cautious sotp 75p against current 24.5p....

let us hope 2010 is a good year...

I was looking again over the weekend at the stock and there are a lot of moving parts, so to speak..

I think even just the fund admin part would justify the current valuation...

Anybody done a rough and ready sum of the parts..??

yes, several weeks ago it looks like a few small caps were hit with big sales. Not sure if a fund was winding up...??

all good progress here and the spread certainly suggests 'please go away'

nice tick up again, there can't be many (if any) laftover from the sell, as any reasonable buy pushes it up - keep the buys coming in, should be back to 30p in no time.

350k shares were dumped on the market at 12 a couple of weeks ago. I guess there have been about 200k traded since then so there are still a few in order to clear out the rest of that 350k (unless the buyer was a long term holder, which is quite possible). People probably want to see some newsflow on this before buying aggressively, but I'm quite happy to pick some up in the quiet times before the herd arrives. And like others have said, the only reason for the big fall was that one big sell, so as that gets mopped up, there's no reason it can't return to where it was before.

Yes - this is an odd one. Down 50% on one sell and looks possible it could return to previous levels almost just as quickly. Let's see what happens next.

Think the problem now is that the spread has widened considerbaly since yesterday when it was only 0.25-0.5p. Still, it won't take many buys to send it up again.
