14/6/2022 12:47 | Oil and Gas companies across AIM have been the place to be the last 6 months. There is one company that does not seem to be able to prosper from high oil prices though... | brasso3
14/6/2022 10:03 | Rob Shepherd, Group Finance Director, President Energy Plc. Rob, As a shareholder and Company employee, are you happy with the Company share price, not only currently but also over the past many years, and if not, do you have a solution as to what should be changed to entice the market to take notice of President Energy Plc? Do you agree that this situation has gone on far too long now and that major changes are necessary for the good of everyone connected with the Company, and of course, the shareholders? The share price is currently 11.6% lower than at the time of the last AGM, which I believe is unacceptable. Do you agree? Not one single share purchased so far today! And the GBP31 million market cap is, I hope you also agree, shameful. Pp. | piperpeter

14/6/2022 08:21 | Given the interest on the debt, I am not convinced that we are massively profitable in Argentina, hence the focus on EBITDA rather than bottom line profitability. We will benefit to some extent from increased prices but look at our recent production figures which are dropping month on month. | chris cat
13/6/2022 23:36 | The cost of the Salta Wells will reduce the profit for 2022. Worst case might be taxed an additional 10% on profits above the $8m threshold. Say full year is $16m profit (from Argentina operations only), and I would be very happy with that. Yes, we could end up paying an extra $800k tax in accordance with an associated windfall policy. Pretty daft for a country that wants to entice the big oil players, possibly leaving more future market share for PPC share if they are put off. Weirdly good for the company. It would also be nice if the company was actually making extraordinary profits. If it was it wouldn't be sitting at this price. Trafigura, and other commodity traders on the other hand have made huge profits. Also... Fernández did not say which sectors would be targeted for the tax, but cited the rise in wheat, sunflower and maize prices in recent months – all products of which Argentina is a major exporter, along with beef. Guzmán has previously stated that the government’s measure would affect only "very large companies in Argentina". Last month, the British government announced a temporary windfall tax on oil giants benefiting massively from surging crude prices. | bengal1

13/6/2022 22:40 | Rob Shepherd, Group Finance Director, President Energy Plc. Rob, Are you personally happy with the Company share price, not only currently but also over the past many years, and if not, do you have a solution to what could possibly be changed to entice the market to take some, or any, notice of President Energy plc? Do you not think this has gone on far too long now? The GBP31 million market cap is, I hope you agree, shameful. Pp. | piperpeter

13/6/2022 13:03 | chris cat, Probably best to wait for the Company update on the new wells. Pp. | piperpeter
13/6/2022 11:59 | Chris If they had of paid off the IYA loan with the $11m we would be above 2p now. That is not in everybody's interest though! Do you really think this 3 well programme has really only cost $11m? I suspect its more like $12 - $13m as its about 3 - 4 months behind schedule. | brasso3
13/6/2022 11:41 | Oil Production in May is less than April on a pro-rata daily basis, Gas production in May is lower than April, which was lower than March. Oil production in April 21 was 8,283,923 and in May 21 was 9,053,542. Gas in April 21 was 4,159,609 and in May 21 was 6,106,850. Anybody got any idea where our $11m investment in new wells has gone? What if we hadn't spent the $11m and just muddled by with declining production, would we be in a better position? | chris cat

12/6/2022 19:42 | No idea what the battery is, but I believe the way it works here is the flow after drilling is poor (so they don't say). Even though they give dates when flow starts etx. Then they do various treatments (eg acid) take a long time and then the subsequent flow rates comes up slowly after the treatments reach whatever. And only then do they tell the mushrooms... | officerdigby

I assume it is being treated within the battery before going into the sales line. And/or possibly it's going into storage tanks before ultimately going to sales... REPORTE DE PRODUCCION.
