Think you will find this has been historical RB.

Very weak management is the cause, lets just hope for once they have done something right and reduced debt mega; after all Catcher was producing premium oil and should have been edged accordingly, we will see.

Interesting divergence on the published shorts:

AHL Partners LLP +0.07%
Marshall Wace -0.15%

I think MW are more of a 'player' but since AHL arrived on the scene, the price has certainly been hit hard

Opec Mulls Coordinated Output Cuts After US Elections

Opec and its non-Opec allies are carefully monitoring the oil market as they mull the option of cutting output in November after US elections next week.

Revenue should be up 30 to 40% looking at other oil company results.

Yup . Despite my one good trade and 1 bad on Pmo this week I am encouraged by BPs figures . I think that UK stocks have become too attached to US wobbles yet we never had a bubble . So am hoping we get to the operational update as cheap as possible and then get the positive update am expecting and same will go for next quarter

I realize this is not an oil demand projection, but you don't build CDU's unless you think there is going to be a need for them....

"....with global crude distillation units (CDU) capacity expected to hit 117 million bpd by 2022,..."

Yet another day of production with the Brent price in the high $70s.

How terrible.

At Catcher start up, most of us would have scoffed at suggestions that there would be so many sustained weeks/months of +$70 oil in the second half of the year (I think it's been +$70 since mid April?)

Catcher reliability & up-time has been steadily improving so we should be in for a decent update on the 15th Nov.

This week should refocus some shorter's & II's on that possibility.....

Anybody got any up to date figures on how pmo are hedged for next year?
Last time I had any update was about 2 months ago and then from memory they were around 25% at I think average $77 for H1 (or possibly Q1) and around 17% at $80+ for H2 (or possibly Q2 can’t remember exactly and not got my notes with me) - that was an ongoing process too so when we hit late $80’s POO those averages should have gone up slightly over past few months as % hedged increases for those periods.

Agreed... and don't forget Sealion.. (which I estimate to be worth more than Zama - and is potentially much closer to being monetized).
