Mike it's not shorts as in positions taken on the hope the share goes down . It's hedges . In a convertible bond hedge you want to cancel out the equity risk ( becoming market neutral ) and collect the bond's yield . That simple . So the 'shorts' are the very same type we saw last year in the run up to December . They are just hedges . Hope that helps . I am ex City turned independent trader .

Capex spending on Catcher is due to wind down in H2... this should accelerate debt reduction... Keep an eye on the number of vessels around Catcher to see if this is happening.

Half year results due 23rd.Debt as of the 30/6/2018 $2.65b.I think PMO should currently be paying down debt at $25m a month.I am not certain exactly how each part of the debt is structured but a proportion is probably variable and therefore the debt reduction should smowball as less interest is paid on the variable.

God I will be happy when the last of the CBs convert...same old hedge funds have been steadily increasing their shorts over the last two weeks. Lets hope they all disappear after 6/9

Share price again makes no recovery despite Brent being $1.50 off its lows

Not sure many are realising that Brent in sterling is at almost this year's highs ! Revenues are in dollars yet many retail punters i reckon are associating Brent price decline in dollars to Pmo price . Big error . I'll load the chart up later . To illustrate my point

thanks rats.. that's an 8/9 day loading schedule maintained over the past 3-4 loads.. represents close to 60kobpd production (unless they're short loads, and that would be unlikely)...

btw, once the new shares are listed from the CB's we become a 1 Bn GBP company again with the share price over about 124/5.. not seen since late 2014.

Just a hunch but I think that Borders (BOR) may be about to have one of its 'inexplicable' price jumps judging the recent trades & offer price movement - has done this twice recently and both times had very large % jumps up and back down again

I was mildly impressed with his last few interviews I watched
I liked his comments about falklands/sea lion - “just want to get on With it”

Nice profit adg.

With Tolmount, Zama & Sea Lion news on the horizon as well as a strong oil price, there is plenty to be confident & excited about.

Once debt decreases over the next 6 months, this will rerate quite significantly imo.

£2+ by Christmas?

Why is that asa8 ? (That’s a serious question btw - I’m not trying to be smart or scarcastic)
I’m £60k+ up so quite happy and I am 100% certain there is a lot further to go given some time and patience...

PMO looks a good buy for US investors with the way Wee Liam Fox in attempting to get sterling lower against the dollar.

Remaining CBs being converted on 6/9

Guess they had to give a statutory notice period as its a bit further out than Id hoped. No doubt the likes of Marshall Wace will play their games until the dying death

Disposed of my holding on the back of the oil price rise. Have been in since around 80p so a nice turn.
