I also think that RKH will hit 100p on Sealion FID - that is in my mind an 85% to 95% certainty in this POO environment barring any utter complete disasters or global meltdown.... (which unfortunately is totally possible with a TWITTERING NARCISSISTIC ORANGUTANG in control of the worlds biggest economy....)

A HNY and A PNY to all - even you Hank !

I predict PMO will have at some point hit 107p by end of June and 137p by end of December 2018

Lets hope so.....
---------------------------------------------------

So I reckon I did ok for once on that call - now 137 is more or less history I genuinely think we could see 250p in the next 18 months, in which case on PMO alone (ignoring other stocks held) my working life exit strategy will be complete at the tender age of 52 !

adg, I've had a few sell orders in at 136, since about mid may, and they've never been hit... if that helps at all.

Bounty Hunter,

Its all about timing. OIL was one of my best ever, it went from the teens in the Brenda days to over £4.00 in the post-Huntington era (I sold long before that). Art was exceptional at finding the stuff, especially appraisal drilling and OIL were killed off by the debt and the unprecedented fall in the oil price, that killed off AFR and many others too CAZA et al. With COPL its all about timing again. The market has a short memory and if ART delivers even a fraction of that plan in the presentation then this is going to be one of the highest baggers in the oil sector in a long time. If the deal goes through and they line up funding they're expected to produce from the modified rig, so no 3-4 year wait as normally associated with offshore. Plan is 6000bopd in the early stages and within about 3-5 years and 29 wells later produce 60,000bopd at peak. The market rightly or wrongly expects that this will not happen hence £8m market cap. If on the other hand they get approval from the Nigerians for the Essar deal, finance the well and get the expected results this is Oilexco mark II. The early days of OIL were exceptional and that's why I took some here. One of the smallest holdings in my porty so its not without risk as you point out, but upside if Art pulls it off is going to be legendary. First target 90mmbbls, combined appraisal targets approx 250mmbbls.

Regards,
Ed.

Premier had a hang over yesterday & is getting drunk today, the trading update put to bed & oil back down to more reasonable levels, the chairman seems to have an idea what direction to steer the company, I should be buying more shares rather than writing this 🙂 Seriously, nice bounce, I’m gonna keep holding DYOR GLA

Cheers fitton, I was under that impression,it’s on the back burner, they must have to map the sea bed for low points to make drilling easier, not sure, well the black gold is definitely there, like a safety net for the company/ share price IMO I’ve given up guessing on the oil price movement,I hardly look at it now.

I understand they are doing some more drilling later this year. Its not producing as I think they are still drilling and maping the field.

It’s the PMO share in the Mexican oil field that stands out for me, someone mentioned on the other thread about it being spudded/drilled but I thought it already had, I’m not even sure if it’s in production to be honest, I’ll look through the TU again, any input appreciated.

I think there is more longer term investment buying coming in now the company is finally moving in the right direct with debt reduction.Increasing production, asset valuation and oil price are all helping make PMO look fairly attractive recovery stock.

Glencore & Tullow both facing legal issues, WTI found some support around $70, see if PMO can push on from here
