18/10/2017 09:14 | Oil price could hit $60 and we would still be heading lower lol. Total disconnect between the fundamentals of what a company does, and its share price. Should signal a great buying opportunity, but investors are being bent over and screwed by a certain cartel of hedge funds. As it stands, the refinancing was the death knell for anyone in PMO other than debt holders | nav_mike
18/10/2017 09:09 | 63.5p - 63.75p Continuing its' journey back to 62p regardless of Catcher/POO Absolutely no buying interest. Very odd how not one single II sees any value at this sp BTW The reported trades on ADVFN are less reliabe than usual over the last couple of days - AT trades reported as buys have been sells | begorrah88
18/10/2017 08:31 | Once more nothing to see here Was that big trade a roll? exact match late yesterday [showing as both this morning on ADVFN] Seems an odd trade but has done nothing to lift anything here. | begorrah88
18/10/2017 08:10 | Steve Yep agreed...hadnt thought of it like that. I guess we will have to see. On the other hand, its a problem I could live with if it meant the share price was £1+ :) | nav_mike
18/10/2017 08:06 | Thanks Mike, I agree there will always be some doubt... but consider this. The CB's currently pay 2.5% annual interest (IIRC), so between now and their maturity the holders will expect to earn what, 6 years, so 15% interest... Now once the share price reached CP plus 15% they could convert and immediately sell and be in the same net position as at maturity, but perhaps 5 years earlier... so why wouldn't they? CP+15% is 85.5, and this could well be a sticking point if CBH's adopt this policy. The only reason I could envisage that the CBH's WOULDN'T want do this is in the hope that they could force another renegotiation with the CP at an even lower price (i.e. if we require a further refinancing if we fail our future covenant tests)... but with the higher OP this is looking ever less likely. | steve73
18/10/2017 07:57 | Hmmm 1.9m shares trade @ 65p More shenanigans to explain this weeks price action? | nav_mike
18/10/2017 07:45 | With respect Steve thats not as clearcut as you make out.... (i) I believe its been mentioned that investors in CBs dont like to convert as they dont want the risk associated with ordinary shares. (i)Yes there would be more shares but debt would also be reduced by $247m In any event its totally academic at the mo as our hedge friends wont let this leave the 60s, let alone get to 104p+ :) | nav_mike
18/10/2017 04:07 | Good news overnight.... X2. Catcher on its way - about 140nm left of its epic voyage, then she'll be for ever going around in circles for the next decade or two. Should be there in about 20 hours at the rate she's going. And Scott Spirit heading to Solan at long last... Providing it will be taking a full load (and not just a sly trick to fool all us ship-spotters), then Solan production has dropped to around 4 kbopd average. Perhaps there's been some downtime for some maintenance or some such... Be good if Tony could help us understand better at the next T/O update next month.. if he or anyone in IR is reading this. jelenko... re. your post #..537, If all the CB's convert (and IMO there is no reason they would not convert once the share price is significantly higher than the CBP(74), and indeed once the share price is above the CBP+40%(c. 104p) then PMO can force them to convert), this will create a further 258 MM new shares - which is around 50% of existing. I believe the small figure to which you referred is the dilution that would result from the Warrants... and then only if they convert cashlessly. Conversion (of the remaining warrants) to actual new shares would result in more like 15% dilution. | steve73
17/10/2017 21:14 | Sicknote,When catcher starts producing, it will, big time in my view. | jelenko

17/10/2017 18:12 | They should let Durrant come aboard then throw him over board with bricks round his ankles you never know might do wonders for the share price no more inside information 🐷 | asa8
17/10/2017 17:38 | Yes, BW Catcher is on it's way to the Catcher field now taking advantage of a time window of opportunity which was expected after Ex Hurricane Ophelia has passed. It is great to see that the long journey from Singapore is almost over. | crystball
