I reckon that's exactly what PMO will do-prove this up and then sell. Pay off debt or develop sea lion/FI basin. Gives them so many options now!

I wonder whether given that selling this or other assets is imminently possible, results due tomorrow with production above target whether the circumstances are conducive to a major shorts squeeze. Oh and catcher on its way plus refinancing now a formality?

Whilst a significant discovery is useful, the main focus will/should be the debt.

How much further spending will be required to apprise the fieled and how much more to commercialize it?

The Mexican govt take around 68% of the profit from each barrel produced from this discovery which should start producing in around 4 years time. Capex should be quite low considering it's in shallow water

It would be better for PMO if they sold their 25% for a decent sum and pay off their debt
