18/8/2015 21:42 | Hard to say on hmv. Arrogance of the CEO maintaining the dividend when it was time to batten down the hatches. Before that, he splurged cash (not paper) on dodgy acquisitions. Flat packing and stitching up the landlords helped, but I think it was viable without that. Too little, too late. I think he's doing the same to some other company threatened by a digital death now... I'll check now. | zcaprd7
06/8/2015 20:33 | As regards HMV, did you think it would be any different once they taken the poor old pi for a ride? Too many crooks in the market these days...short a share to death then put it in admin only to trade again on someone buying it on the cheap.... | kulvinder
01/8/2015 14:07 | Hi Varies, Know the feeling, nearly always a timing issue. I usually buy bundles of £500 / £1000 and build a position over time and it usually comes good in the end - except for HMV - that still hurts - especially as they are going great guns now! | zcaprd7
29/7/2015 10:54 | The answer to the question you are asking yourselves is. Disintermediation. There is no real long term future for either PFL or ECM. I have been sorely tempted by their hefty yields but have been burnt more times than I care to remember so have left them both alone. | salpara111
29/7/2015 07:50 | Hm, feet in the water and its a bit cold... | edmundshaw
23/7/2015 08:13 | Have been watching and was a decent trading statement. plus GO's involvement seems positive the only negative I came across was a reference to Amazon business (?) possibly affecting trading in the USA.? (or did I dream that as I can't find the reference). Anyway, foot in the water time. | kiwi2007
22/7/2015 19:44 | Over the years I have found that buying a share that yields about twice the average leads often to the disappointment of a cut dividend but I have not been able to resist adding to my PFL holding today. Fingers crossed ! | varies
07/7/2015 12:49 | In here. Seems close to bottom of range technically? Anyway, 6.2% yield nice, balance sheet fine, some prospects in growth and efficiency savings. Not a rocket, but decent value, brokers expecting better earnings going forward. IMO. | edmundshaw
25/6/2015 06:11 | Technicals are pretty awful here, has it bottomed yet ? | tudes100
23/6/2015 14:17 | strong buying today, go investment partners adding? | kmann
18/6/2015 07:14 | Decent update. go investment partners will underpin the share price by keep buying any dips (see tht), feels like they have plans. Raspberry pi doing very well Brokers are all aligning | kmann
17/6/2015 14:37 | go investment partners increasing there holding to over 4%,they are here to make things change,as a under valued co. regds | limit up

13/5/2015 13:54 | £2+ breakout after next update imo. 240 major resistance for 2-3 years, but that was back in uncertain times, things have changed for the better imo. | kmann
11/5/2015 08:49 | Be nice to see upwards of £2 | silver tortoise

19/3/2015 15:55 | Odd early price reaction. A profit making, restructured, divi paying company like this should trading nearer 230 imo (look at all the jam tomorrow carp out there trading on hot air!) Can only see them increasing that divi over the years as things improve. | kmann
19/3/2015 08:40 | Electronics components distributor Premier Farnell reported a drop in adjusted profits before tax of 3% to reach £74m in 2014. That came on the back of a 0.8% fall in full-year revenues to £960.1m. However, the company's operating margins declined by less than forecast by analysts, slipping by 40 basis points, to 9.2%. The analyst consensus was for margins of 9%. Earnings per share (EPS) on an adjusted basis came in at 13.8%, down 3.5% from the prior year but ahead of the 13.5p which analysts had penciled in. 19/3/2015 08:17 | Numis caled their upgrade about right, divi maintained curently @ 5% yield. Europe showing great strength too. Great outlook as the inititives and recovery in customer demand grow. | kmann |
