Storming rpi2 sales, could be even better than I thought.

Raspberry Pi 2 sells 500,000 in two weeks as total sales hit 5 million

Nice chart mike.

New raspberry pi2 already sold half a million in 1 month. A BIG revenue generator for pfl, one of their biggest selling products just got bigger, selling at a faster rate than ever. I'd expect EVERYONE who bought rpi1 to buy an rpi2, ie 4million!. Its a goldenegg for pfl. It could easily sell 2million units this year. Retails at £25-35 per unit. And you can run windows10 on it!

Could do well from here imo. New Raspberry Pi2, should out sell RPi1, (sold 4MILLION since launch 2014) The new unit SIX times faster than previous AND you can run windows on it. Will probably double previous sales imo.

One would kind have hoped they would have cashed in on the UK recovery in the last 3 years or so and improved its footing in the market.....but no.

Morning all,
No position here, but it has been on my watch list for some time because of the yield.
Been running the slide rule over PFL after this morning's update. There doesn't look to be too much to go for here for the next couple of years, so only the dividend is keeping the share price afloat.
I estimate profit before tax at £67 million. Applying a 30% tax rate gives EPS of 12.6p which gives divi cover of around 1.2. Very thin! Will management keep the divi? That's a close call.
I see ECM also down this morning. No doubt affected by the read across.

Margins under pressure, some cost savings delayed (expected £6-8m next year now only £3-4m), exchange rates going against them by £2m, cost savings will cost them £5m this year and next year.

Increasing revenue but at the cost of margin.

Overall I wasn't impressed and so I took a loss and sold this morning after only recently buying. Should have waited for the trading update before purchasing really.

Not me. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it will make up some ground after the analyst presentation this morning and when 'the market' has had time to digest it a bit more.

Having said that, I won't be adding to my small holding.

Have to agree. Given the overall decline in last few months with blackrock shorting, then the drop yesterday afternoon (news had clearly been leaked to chums), and then this 10% today. The statement while disappointing doesn't warrant it. But in the current climate I've noticed any company with statements that are overall good but may contain a slightly negative note are getting hammered by panickers and shorters.

Gone long on PFL looks cheap on a forward P/E of 12.5 to 2015. Should have a good run up to results mid september.

It's good to see a couple of directors buying a wadge of shares. Now relatively low P/E and good dividend forecast. it's about time this reversed the down trend.
