03/10/2011 08:33 | Electro-components bearing witness to an accelerating decline of sales as manufacturing starts to stall and European orders dry up against a backdrop of a worsening debt crisis. It does not matter how good the company is shudstave but if it is experiencing a decline in customers its going down. The increase in customers and profits you clearly expect seems to be in another lifetime on another planet in order for the price to recover to 2.20+ because its certainly not happening here right now is it ! | envirovision
12/9/2011 11:32 | ON a perspective 2013 of less than 16p PE would be nearly 10. I suspect that's probably far to high. I can imagine these around the £1 level, albeit I am not saying that will happen. Never the less if it did, that's still 35% down side and one can see the risk / reward does not look favourable at the present level. | envirovision
12/9/2011 11:26 | First of the next wave of brokers forecast downgrades in and grim reading. 1013 GMT [Dow Jones] Singer Capital cuts its Premier Farnell (PFL.LN) price target to 170p from 220p, we have reduced our PBT forecast for the full year [FY12] by 4.5% to GBP90.5M and by 6.3% in 2013 to GBP99.1M. Question is what will the wave of brokers targets look like after this ? | envirovision
10/9/2011 20:34 | Anyone know how sisters act is doing ? Seems to have done wonders for the share price They must be waiting for ward of share options for a JOB very well done. The BOARD should be ashamed. | hvs

10/9/2011 18:57 | The chart has all the signs of catching a falling knife for the moment anyway | tom111
09/9/2011 16:15 | I hope these keep falling for a couple of weeks longer :) | shudstave

08/9/2011 22:06 | How close is this to leaving the ftse 250? | dodge meister
08/9/2011 22:05 | ITs a significant drop in free cash flow, dont know why. and no statement on liabilities. With a thin dividend cover I suppose in the current economic view there are significant risk. | dodge meister
08/9/2011 14:01 | Quite startling at the scale of the destruction job being done on the share price. PFL does now look stupidly cheap. It is hard to imagine what would be the share price of PFL if equity markets make a second subtantial move lower. | bobsidian
08/9/2011 13:15 | The sister act is working wonders for the share price No doubt they will BOTH GET A NICE FAT BONUS for "outstanding performance" why not throw in afew cut price options as well ? Why not ? Investec seems to be IN LOVE with the SISTERS. | hvs
08/9/2011 10:43 | envirovision Don't you think that it looks a bargain now ............ - a secure & rising yield of over 6.75% (10.9p FY12 divi on 160p sp); - a stupid PE of 9 (FY12 forecast eps of 18p+) on a company with 7%+ underlying ptp growth. Electronics are just deeply unfashionable I'm afraid. | electronica
08/9/2011 09:31 | At what point will this look a bargain ? | envirovision
07/9/2011 21:23 | 8 September 2011 Second Quarter and Half Year Results thats why it didnt rise today.... | mj19
11/8/2011 19:12 | The directors buying in cash was small - but never mind they t reloaded with wads of options as well at 195p ish Nice timing | gregmcn
05/8/2011 18:15 | You can say that again. Why the rise against the trend today, I wonder? | deanforester
22/7/2011 12:28 | good if this closed above 200. | tratante
20/7/2011 22:21 | Good to see share price rising and directors buying! | tratante
14/7/2011 08:38 | Simon Also electronic distribution markets are not as dire as the recent share price fall implies ............... The sort of demand that Digi-Key are seeing will also apply to PFL. That IMS RNS was misinterpreted by the sheep in the CITY. Mind you the wording could have been clearer & the tone need not have been so downbeat. | electronica
14/7/2011 08:02 | The electronics distributor Premier Farnell, which dived last week after a profit warning, recovered by 3 per cent to 189p on the back of an upgrade to "buy" from Investec. "With purchasing managers' indices .̴ | simon gordon
13/7/2011 17:41 | strong finish hopefully more tomorrow. | tratante
13/7/2011 14:12 | My thoughts exactly, Shudstave! Although I am more optimistic about where the price should settle 250-260. The big sell off was blind panic. | tratante |
