Google++Zimbabwe is on course to becoming a major producer of Lithium and Tantalite following the successful raising of capital on the London Stock Exchange by Premier Mineral Resources.Lithium and Tantalite are two of the more than sixty types of mineral endowments that Zimbabwe is gifted with.British based Premier Mineral Resources managed to successfully raise a quarter million pounds for further exploration on its Zulu Mining and Tantalum Project in the Matabeleland South Province.Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Hon. Polite Kambamura, confirmed the development."Yes I can confirm that Premier Mineral Resources managed to get an exclusive prospecting order to kick start the mining of lithium in the country. This is line with the Government mining development policy and open for business mantra in order to be able to increase Mining output," said Hon. Kambamura.Zimbabwe is poised to benefit from its huge lithium deposits which is used to manufacture batteries to power electric cars which are gaining popularity globally.London Stock Exchange listed Premium Mineral Resources issued one point three million shares which were fully subscribed and the company's Chief Executive Officer, George Roach, says they are excited at the prospect of kick-starting operations which include the ongoing electrification of the RHA Tungsten Mine on the same project.

10. FOREIGN EXCHANGE LOSSES

As indicated in note 3. Segmental Reporting, the company has significant holdings in Zimbabwe. With effect from the 1(st) of March 2019, the Zimbabwean government has mandated that the only functional currency is RTGS Dollar. Since the introduction of RTGS Dollar the currency has devalued from the introductory rate of RTGS Dollar 1: $ 1 to RTGS Dollar 6.622 as at 30 June 2019. This currency has continued to devalue in the period to 30 September 2019.

The effect on the financial statements has been an exchange loss of $18.258 million in the period to 30 June 2019 (30 June 2018 and 31 December 2018 $ Nil) on the conversion of certain US Dollar denominated loans owed by the group's Zimbabwean subsidiaries to other companies within the group.

Can anyone make any heads or tails from the borrowings section. looks like prem owns GR 216k and BR 119k which was lent to him at an 8% in June this year. I think I missed that RNS...That means prem burned through 450k in 3 months. I'll let folks do the math on how long the latest 250k will last...

And if Circum ever happens GR can pay back himself for paying himself and his son.

Mostly I'm amazed that the shareholder group is pretty chill with all of this.

HA! I'm thinking a dilution of around 90% for prem holders once the merger with MNH is pushed through by GR. And as chairman GR can award himself stock from the merged company.

Today is the big day. If prem don't get the EPO go-ahead today, then the next step is MNH buying prem for peanuts, with GR staying on as chairman of the new group. Good for GR, bad for prem shareholders.
