Premaitha almost a goner ? Not long ago we had Yourgene and recently Premaitha were advertising for personnel.

In "reality" hardly the actions of a "gonner" . . . .

let's let the judge make that decision eh!? Even if it's against it still won't be curtains as appeals will take forever and by then UK/Europe will only be a fraction of the revenue stream and Illumina can keep it ha ha!
That's why the current efforts are all about de-risking!!
UK/Europe are not the best gig in town as they are very very slow on the uptake and other parts of the world are much better and quicker to commit.
In any case Prem will win...sorted!!

interesting to see they are sending the test out getting around the patent as was explained to me that Prem could do the same with Yourgen; Have I got that right?

Cenata and the company Roche have also been sued by the patent holders. A judgment by District Court in Mannheim is awaited. At the hearing before that court, the judge made it clear that the performance of the Harmony® Test in a patent-free country abroad would not infringe the patent in Germany.

Cenata will, therefore, have the Harmony® Test performed by the laboratory Medirex in Slovakia until March 2018. Slovakia is a member of the European Union. This means that the high-quality Harmony® Test can be offered in the usual quality and with short turnaround times. The Medirex laboratory is the largest laboratory in Slovakia and, additionally, accredited in accordance with ISO 9001 and 15189 as well as CAP/CLIA. It is certified by Ariosa and Roche Diagnostics and licensed for the performance of the Harmony® Test. Thus, it is guaranteed that the Harmony® Test at Medirex is performed in accordance with the same high quality standards as is the case at Cenata.

For offering pregnant patients the Harmony® Test, it is necessary to use, with immediate effect, the new request form, where the patient consents to the performance of the test by the Medirex laboratory. Other than the use of this request form, nothing changes: The high quality, the short throughput times of the Harmony® Tests and the price remain unchanged. The test results will also continue to be validated by the physicians of Cenata.

Not a holder but looks like premaitha are going to win the first case from this new action. Question is, can the business cope with these continuous bully boy tactics?

Illumina bullies are at it again. They're not afraid, they're simply ruthless. Will they ever give up the fight? Premaitha once had such great promise but now I'm not so sure. I'll be watching from the sidelines as an ex-holder here, curious to see how this turns out for the minnow vs the Goliath.
