01/10/2018 16:35 | Chris Grayling gave quite a decent mention to the importance of zero emissions vehicles in his presentation this afternoon to the Conservative Party Conference. The BBC news today also ran an article on pollution of the marine environment by small particle plastics and plastic pollution is also the subject of two BBC documentaries this evening - extracts: Just underlines the role PHE could play in converting waste plastics into clean hydrogen gas. | money maker1

01/10/2018 09:06 | Surely not, Superg randomly bumped into some guy from Cambridge who just happens to know all about the PHE technology and decided to confide in Superg that it doesn't work. How lucky are we to find out? | fozdad

29/9/2018 19:18 | A materials guy from Cambridge that I met by chance mentioned PHE. They said scientifically the claims looked impossible. So they sent questions to PHE and got no reply. That has them thinking they are right. So the point is someone claims PHE are happy to answer questions, it’s untrue. I tried myself way back even when Warwick suggested they answer them they didn’t. I’ll be seeing the guys concerned in the coming weeks. I’ll let you know if PHE have replied. | superg1
29/9/2018 09:09 | This is a technology play - surely if the technology was so valuable it would have been snapped up by a major some time ago. Its petty cash, so even a 100% write-off would be inconsequential. KA continues to hawk this everywhere he can - now relying on grants in 2019- apply some common sense and nothing adds up. | lagosboy
29/9/2018 07:37 | Super: what’s with the cryptic comment? How are we supposed to know what you’re talking about? Please elaborate, what exactly was the question that this mysterious person has asked and hasn’t got an answer to? | vatnabrekk
29/9/2018 07:25 | Superg1, could that someone be you? Why would anyone else (other than your secretary) go to the trouble of emailing your question to the company? | cmackay
29/9/2018 04:58 | re If people have questions or concerns then ask the company directly. They are more then happy to answer any legitimate concerns. Could someome email Keith and ask him to respond to the materials experts at Cambridge. They apparently think some claims are impossible. I hear they have asked questions along those lines and have not had a response. So I look forward to reading the response once they get it (if ever, I won’t hold my breath) I don’t know why anyone would trust anything they PHE say as the same lot said it all before re pyromex. Brilliant this loads talking etc world beater. ‘Nice’ adminstration costs btw. | superg1
28/9/2018 11:00 | Interim Results just out: We note that the share price has fallen this year as we have been required to retire the Note and to raise cash for Company operations. However, we believe this to be a short-term situation for the Company and the Board is confident that third-party technical validation, the appointment of a partner for the fabrication and construction of the first DMG® facility, and, of course, the first contracted commercial order utilising our proprietary DMG® technology, will drive what the Board believes to be the considerable value inherent in PowerHouse. | top tips
27/9/2018 13:03 | Lisbon, Portugal September 26th, 2018 Toyota today took another important step towards a broader hydrogen society by announcing that it will provide its hydrogen fuel cell technology to Caetanobus SA in Portugal. In line with its vision of a decarbonised society―as stated in its 2050 environmental challenge, Toyota is promoting the application of its hydrogen fuel cell technology beyond passenger cars, including heavy duty trucks1, small delivery trucks2, forklifts3 and buses4. In Europe, Toyota will supply its fuel cell systems5, including fuel cell stacks, hydrogen tanks and other key components to Caetanobus SA―the renowned Portuguese bus engineering and production company―to build hydrogen fuel cell city buses. The first zero emission fuel cell city buses will roll off the lines of Caetanobus SA, in a little over a year, and are to be operated as demonstration buses by Caetanobus SA. "Supplying our fuel cell systems to Caetanobus demonstrates the many practical uses and environmental benefits of hydrogen towards a carbon-free society. We're really excited by the prospect of seeing the first buses of our longstanding automotive partner in European cities." said Dr Johan van Zyl, President and CEO, Toyota Motor Europe. "Hydrogen buses have significant advantages compared to other zero emission buses, such as superior driving range and short refuelling time. These benefits allow hydrogen buses to be operated on longer routes and a higher utilisation". José Ramos, President of Salvador Caetano Indústria holding, commented: "We are very proud to be the first company in Europe to benefit from Toyota's leading fuel cell technology and look forward to confirming our world-class bus development and manufacturing capabilities. We are convinced that hydrogen is a great solution for zero emission buses." The announcement was made in Lisbon, in presence of some of the highest Portuguese government representatives for mobility and the environment, during the visit of the Energy Observer catamaran, the first hydrogen sea vessel powered purely by renewable solar and hydrogen energy. | new tech
