12/2/2018 11:56 | Companies will be queing to partner PHE. | deccer1
12/2/2018 11:55 | It needs planning permission but that is a formality. | deccer1
11/2/2018 21:56 | Vat That's why I'm asking as the planning app can be a along process just like any other planning app. They go through various checks and signing off, for comment and so on. If there isn't one in already then it's surely not happening anytime soon. | superg1
11/2/2018 10:11 | There is actually quite a lot hanging on the granting of the application. The final signing of the lease with Peel depends upon obtaining planning permission. Also KA has stated that they expect to be "breaking ground" i.e. starting site works around April, and they can only do that once they have obtained planning permission and signed the lease. With only about two months (and a bit) to go, one would hope that they are fairly far advanced with the application. Considering how long it can take to get planning permission, it may now be difficult to hit the April target. I expect we'll get an update on the situation fairly shortly. | vatnabrekk
11/2/2018 09:48 | As far as I know the application isn't in yet, they are still working on it along with Peel. | vatnabrekk
11/2/2018 09:47 | Does anyone know if they have an application in re planning. They keep mentioning it but `I can't find one. I have tried their name, Peel and just Hydrogen and can't find anything. | superg1
11/2/2018 09:35 | So, as we haven't been told the reason for the delay by either party, I guess we will just have to wait and see what comes out, then we can make judgement. | vatnabrekk
11/2/2018 09:29 | So having said this recently making investors think it's all about road fuel, they decided to use the £5 mill Capex all in costs option in the presentation when in fact with PSA for road fuel they suggest it's £10 mill. Having recently had its synthesis gas fully analysed by an independent third-party laboratory and having forwarded the results to a supplier, PowerHouse has reached an initial agreement in principal, subject to minor engineering detail and finalisation of commercial arrangements, that one of the Suppliers is prepared to provide its proprietary small-scale Pressure Swing Adsorption ("PSA") equipment to separate and clean up the hydrogen within the syngas to road-fuel quality hydrogen. Should the Supplier be selected to provide its equipment, it is prepared to guarantee and warrant the performance of the equipment. | superg1
11/2/2018 09:18 | The the costs in the presentation. It seems the very high purity hydrogen costs £10 mill per unit using a PSA. But then only £10 mill per unit it seems re economy of scale as both the £5 mill and £10 mill Capex quotes look like they are bulk type orders. As per * "Capex Numbers Indicative of long-term projections for multiple unit build-out." PHE older news (PSA) into the gas recovery system and to generate a 99.99% pure stream of Hydrogen. In the representation a PSA version costs £10 mill but that figure is based on economy of scale builds etc. So a single unit start up is going to be more. | superg1
11/2/2018 09:05 | AFC news 8th Jan. So it seems the problem is with PHE not AFC. January 2018 AFC Energy PLC ("AFC Energy" or the "Company") AFC Energy Delivers Material Improvement in Fuel Cell System and Electrode Performance Exceeding Targeted 2017 Milestones AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company, is pleased to provide an update on the successful operation of the materially enhanced fuel cell stack and cartridge. Highlights Fuel Cell Stack, Cartridge and System Design -- The successful development and operational validation of the enhanced fuel cell stack and cartridge basis of design that incorporates numerous design enhancements initiated over the past 12 months; -- This enhanced commercial design basis exhibits substantial progression against targeted Performance, Longevity, Availability, Cost and Efficiency ("P.L.A.C.E.") objectives set for 2017 in line with the minimum expected performance criteria of a commercial fuel cell system; | superg1
11/2/2018 09:03 | Vat Are you trying to suggest the delay should not be announced by PHE. The share price is falling and I was hunting for a possible reason. AFC "are satisfied that the PowerHouse waste gasification system is generating a hydrogen stream specification appropriate for the operation of the AFC Energy proprietary fuel cell system." So is it AFC failing to supply the full cell or PHE kit not where they want it to be. As that was AFC's first commercial order and was news then if they had failed to get the full cell sorted they surely they would have needed to announce it. Prior to that they went on about in 2015 commuting to getting the fuel cells right and delivered in late 2017 which fits. So that throws in the suspicion that the problem is PHE's end not AFC's. Considering it obviously hasn't arrived and it's now 3 months late, investors imo should be updated. | superg1
11/2/2018 08:57 | Further AFC put that order out as their first commercial order (reg rns) but also said this. AFC Energy will deliver the system once all parties are satisfied and it is confirmed that the PowerHouse G3-UHt Ultra-high temperature waste gasification system has been successfully recommissioned and is generating a hydrogen stream specification appropriate for the operation of the AFC Energy proprietary fuel cell system. AFC news 29th June AFC Energy will deliver the system once all parties are satisfied that the PowerHouse waste gasification system is generating a hydrogen stream specification appropriate for the operation of the AFC Energy proprietary fuel cell system. Since that time they too have stopped mentioning it. | superg1
11/2/2018 08:48 | Seems to me that the hold-up is with AFC. This would be their first sale, so it would be for them to make any announcements about it, not PHE. I would appear that AFC are still making improvements to their electrodes. | vatnabrekk
11/2/2018 08:41 | Dolphin Did you notice something seems to gave disappeared and the full year update doesn't have it in either. The fuel seed order from AFC. It was ordered in March (6th March news). Anticipated delivery time 8 months. In June it gets a mention With this in mind, we announced earlier in 2017 that we expected the delivery of an AFC Fuel Cell unit to our Thornton Facility. We are confident that our G3-UHt unit will perform as it has in the past, and that our unique ability to generate a hydrogen-rich gas will lead to a successful trial of the fuel cell. Late sept interim results no mention of it. Jan 18 full year business update no mention of it. It should have arrive in early November with payment next month. Where is it? | superg1
10/2/2018 12:14 | Last share issue was early September so how many more £20,000 per month shares to issue for Waste2Tricty and any other suppliers being paid by shares? | dolphin158
10/2/2018 11:58 | Need to get Hillgrove out. | deccer1
10/2/2018 04:00 | Tenapen As you posted last week Repeat Repeat Repeat Rampers don't like posters who highlight facts or raise proper points of concern. Instead rampers need to shut down posters who don't ramp as they need to pull in more shareholders to get their share price up. So beware. Oh, Tenapen....such a great investment so how many shares in total have the directors purchased since 2012 and what is the total directors current shareholding? Clue, less than £1,000. | dolphin158
09/2/2018 19:00 | rocket fuel 19 Jan '18 - 08:33 - 19327 1.600 you guys just don't get it do you? a shorter has to bash incessantly, they are only successful if they engage all longs (and CEO) constantly with their fake fears, uncertainties and doubt. They need constant airtime and it does not matter what facts or truths you furnish them with because they don't care about any facts and will keep bashing and grinding it out more and more until they wear you down and then they start the relentless bashing all over again. 09/2/2018 18:25 | You keep repeating yourself so will I. Decarbonising plastic, that is the most interesting part of this interview. Theoretically this technology could decarbonise all types of Carbon. Changing carbon into a fuel that has virtually no carbon footprint is revolutionary. And now the Hillgrove overhang has gone I see this stock ready to fly . | schofi2
09/2/2018 17:31 | So they base it on 22 hrs per day 365. £3 costs conveniently leave out Capex. | superg1

09/2/2018 16:42 | maybe you need to compare oil production from 2008 to date. | pj 1
09/2/2018 16:40 | First up "About 4 percent of the petroleum consumed worldwide each year is used to make plastic" Nice one that's the first hit I got on google but I check the date which is 2008 However if you take about 30 seconds longer you come up with this "Plastic bags and petroleum are intrinsically linked. About 8% to 10% of our total oil supply goes to making plastic." So how accurate is that? | superg1
09/2/2018 16:04 | They need to get Hillgrove out. | deccer1
09/2/2018 13:00 | Very pretty presentation and on reading it a "hang on a minute" re some of the claims. Back later. | superg1 |
