07/5/2020 08:39 | Managed to get 476p for mine just now. Will find out in next weeks or months if I was too cautious. Just currently the climate is so full of uncertainties. And will probably start to buy back in with small buys as the price drops. 3-5 years down the track I am sure they will be in a good place. | scooper72 | |

07/5/2020 07:23 | Not nice - PI's screwed as usual - Wonder how much of a haircut current share price will suffer " Proposed equity placing As a result, the Company has separately announced its intention to conduct a non-pre-emptive placing of new ordinary shares of the Company to raise total gross proceeds of approximately £120 million. The Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and some Non-Executive Directors intend to participate in the Placing. " Also "f the Placing were not to proceed, in the Prudent Scenario, peak net debt would be over 6x EBITDA (LTM) compared to a covenant of 3.0x EBITDA (LTM), and the Company would breach each of its quarterly covenants out to June 2021. 20/11/2019 19:47 | Polypipe investment case intact, says Numis Piping manufacturer Polypipe (PLP) is a fundamentally strong business operating in a weakening market, says Numis. Analyst Christen Hjorth retained his ‘add’ recommendation and target price of 450p on the company, which is expecting full-year results to be marginally below expectations due to a tougher market backdrop. The shares fell 1.8% to 467.8p yesterday. Hjorth reduced his 2019 earnings per share estimate by 6%, with a similar adjustment for 2020. ‘We would not want this to be taken out of context as in our view it reflects a market rather than company-specific phenomenon with the group’s medium-term investment case remaining exceptionally attractive,’ he said. ‘Indeed, we believe that Polypipe has at least held its market share and its long track record of outperformance remains very much intact.’ | philanderer |
