Though I don't regard myself as a trader and certainly no chartist. I loaded up with all I could at sub 1400. 50% as keepers the rest traded all the way up to 1670 before it needed to go elsewhere. I believe despite the overbought/ downgrade notices recently this still has some legs. My average position here is 1489.68 and would like to hold more before the September div. Therefore happy to add.

Looking at the NA goldies they are unimpressed about the move towards $1,900.

Barrick down 0.5%, Newmont down 1.5%. Go figure.

Gold to break 1900 tonight, usual morning dip tomorrow could be a chance to get some more here if we don't sky rocket at opening.

Poly has a mind of its own. Barely even tracks gold these days. Possibly investors switching sectors, Poly with its dividend being a stand out. Poly virgins keeping it moving.

Bitcoin is about having nothing but owning everything.

Fortunately, I live in a democratic society which allows me to buy as much gold, silver, platinum and BTC as I like. I don't own any BTC, but do want some exposure as and when it comes down to a more attractive level.

I'm already loading up on gold and PGM.

BTC's possibility as a hedge against uncertainty has surely been shot out of the water - and Wall Street banks were suggesting this only a few weeks ago (remember they are only ever interested in commission/fees).

BTC's ability to be a currency is laughable - EM suggested he was reversing his decision on accepting BTC for Tesla's on ecological grounds - I'd suggest it was his finance dept telling him, "How can we accept payment for something and then 15 mins later it could very possibly be worth 10% less".

No intrinsic value.

(FB - Government backed digital currencies perhaps are the way forward - but they'll know everything about your finances - do you want that? I know that's what they want.)
