16/6/2016 13:24 | Gold 1310.30 + 18.80. This high price will be going straight through to the company's bottom line. | pixi
16/6/2016 08:14 | way to go to catch RRS's valuation. | undervaluedassets
13/6/2016 21:12 | A lot of people do not have a clue so it does not surprise me that some people are selling. Mad as brushes! | pixi
13/6/2016 10:30 | A v good adding point around here imo surely. Can't believe folk are selling. I'm having more. | scottishfield
13/6/2016 09:28 | Gold 1283.50 + 10.26. | pixi
08/6/2016 16:01 | A graph for sore eyes! | pixi
08/6/2016 14:06 | Gold 1263.90 + 20.70.
Powered through £8 and now into £9. | pixi
08/6/2016 08:40 | Gold is flying: 1251.40 + 8.10.
I bet those who sold yesterday thinking they were really smart are as sick as parrots now! | pixi
06/6/2016 21:08 | After burners on as it soars past £8. | pixi
03/6/2016 18:21 | Cheap when compared to RRS. Anti Russian bias has held it back. That sentiment is clearly changing as management are proving themselves to be highly competent.
Made more money than RRS too at the full year and pays a hefty divi. . | undervaluedassets
03/6/2016 14:10 | Gold is on a tear: 1342.80 + 32.40. | pixi
01/6/2016 13:32 | A rally is in the offing for PM's, the main markets have topped out and "death" crosses abound. A lot of people will start flapping the closer we get to Brexit. I would like to see us get our country back and stand on our own two feet. | pixi
31/5/2016 09:02 | According to barcharts.com this is the best buy in miners. Topped up and now hold 4745. | pixi
26/5/2016 10:33 | Good things happened at the investor day in London clearly ...
I did not go . .
Anyone know what precisely? | undervaluedassets
17/5/2016 15:18 | Another blue day for POLY.
I hear what you say undervaluedassets. Buying straight into POLY is a lower risk (and potentially lower reward) than buying via OVG.
I'm not qualified to advise people what to do. And I most certainly wouldn't be betting the ranch on OVG! But as of today it offers some exposure to POLY at a price somewhere below £2 per POLY share (OVG has net tangible liquid assets inc POLY shares and cash worth >4 times it's market capitalization).
Some things need to change at OVG to see it's valuation improve. POLY's recent performance has to be seen as positive. OVG's stake in POLY alone is now worth £6.238m or 7.65p per OVG share. | bozzy_s
16/5/2016 08:50 | Interesting Bozzy..
But I think - why add to your risk? - OVG has other risks (like it never makes a profit and has lost a lot of money recently lending money to another outfit with no guarantee of getting all that money back)
Meanwhile POLY is making money and looks set to continue to do so.
I will stick with undiluted exposure to POLY by just holding POLY shares | undervaluedassets
12/5/2016 13:25 | Way to buy POLY on the cheap (do risk analysis and research beforehand) .... buy OVG?
OVG own 775,000 POLY shares @ 753p worth £5,835,750 (plus various other tangible assets including cash of 7.4 million Euros at last balance sheet date 30-6-15)
OVG in it's entirety is valued at £4,486,009 (81,563,806 shares @ 5.5p mid price)
OVG's latest balance sheet, dated 30-6-15, shows tangible assets of 22.8m Euros, total liabilities of 0.3m Euros, for net tangible assets of 22.5 million Euros.
This includes 775000 POLY shares at approx 560p.
So the value of OVG's POLY holding as of today is approx 193p per share higher, or £1.5m.
Very roughly, OVG's net tangible asset value based on 30-6-15 balance sheet plus gain on POLY shares since then is £19.2m, or 23.5p per share. This doesn't account for running costs, or POLY dividends received. | bozzy_s

12/5/2016 10:27 | Bubbling under
Compared to RRS still extremely cheap
And not much followed by brokers by comparison either - 14 following here as opposed to RRS's 26.
lately has been playing catch up
Nice dividend while we wait too. | undervaluedassets
12/5/2016 08:00 | Nice rise today. Think there may have been a broker note giving it a push this morning. | liam1om
12/5/2016 06:19 | was also XD on 5th April Wee monkey so did not fall at all really | undervaluedassets
05/5/2016 07:10 | nice price. .
Dropped with RRS which had weak production figures yesterday.
POLY and RRS production figures completely unrelated obviously as operations are on other side of the planet | weemonkey
29/4/2016 17:01 | Gold flying: $1291.70 + 25.30. | pixi
26/4/2016 20:52 | Plateau chart here when most others dropped 10% or so, seems encouraging. | edjge2
26/4/2016 07:41 | This is a good company with strong assets, good profitability and able and transparent management.
There is an unjustifiable "Russia" prejudice that has kept it on a discount when compared to peers (RRS esp) that is just beginning to disappear. . It has marginally outperformed RRS in recent days . . start of something perhaps | undervaluedassets
