28/5/2009 15:50 | I'm here - will work on it before 2morrow.... | unionhall
28/5/2009 15:22 | ross - indeed it is - you'd think that after last year's falls the mms were awash with shares, but it never seems to work that way, does it? Agree re funding too. If they got that sorted, and I found a way to deal without certs, I'd be very tempted indeed. Where's unionhall these days? I think it might be a good time to update the header, unless someone feels like starting a new thread? | supernumerary
28/5/2009 15:12 | picking up strength: | asparks
28/5/2009 15:02 | Amazing to think that all it takes is £1500 quids worth of buying to send it up 20%. Perhaps the time to steam in is indeed when (one hopes) funding can be secured. From the recent results,it seems like PYF have done all the donkey work in outperforming Li ion batteries. | r0ss
28/5/2009 14:44 | Well I just got the next 10K - last of the big spenders! Just loose change really - I was curious to see how etrade would handle the paperwork. Last time I bought these there was a lot of irritation with paper certificates - if they could get rid of that I'd probably be a bigger buyer. | supernumerary
28/5/2009 14:05 | callum - you will miss the rise if you wait too long | asparks
28/5/2009 13:59 | really surprised this one hasn't jumped up, what with $5m of funding secured in last 2 months and other equity finance being actively pursued. Guess time to pile in is when this has been announced. | callumross

28/5/2009 07:54 | This has to raise the price, I mean they have/are receiving funding in excess of twice market cap! RNS Number : 9054S PolyFuel Inc. 28 May 2009 ? 28 May 2009 PolyFuel, Inc. Further $2.5m development funding from US Department of Energy PolyFuel, Inc (AIM: PYF), a world leader in fuel cell technology and engineered fuel cell membranes for the portable electronics industry, is pleased to announce that the US Department of Energy has awarded the Company a further $2.5m in funding for its portable fuel cell development programme. The new award follows on from two previous DOE program awards, the most recent, also for a sum of $2.5 million, which was announced last month. It provides continued funding for the new program, outlined in PolyFuel's announcement of 17 April, to advance portable fuel cell technology to meet the goals for performance, durability, and cost that the DOE has established for wide-scale commercial adoption of DMFC technology for use in laptops and other portable electronics devices. This further grant was won against strong competition, and its award was subject to a rigorous peer-review process by leaders in the industry, underlining the fact that PolyFuel continues to be recognized as a leader in the portable fuel cell field. In addition to this grant, PolyFuel is continuing to actively seek additional capital to complete its technology and product development, build out its manufacturing capability, and achieve commercial introduction of its products. PolyFuel president and CEO Jim Balcom said: "We are delighted with the DOE's continued backing of portable fuel cell technology in general and PolyFuel's technology in particular. This grant is a further affirmation of the importance that the DOE places on the development and commercialization of fuel cell technology and underlines PolyFuel's capability and leadership in its field." | morgs

07/5/2009 18:39 | remember when they easily raised £10m at 80p per share only 3 short years ago!How times have changed. | callumross
07/5/2009 18:34 | Yes, a delayed reaction to the technical progress announced yesterday. Hopefully, one morning we will wake up to an RNS that funding has been agreed and then we will see a real rerating of the stock as the current market cap is a tiny percentage of the money sunk into R&D over the last 4 years. | callumross
07/5/2009 17:34 | just got in and what a fantastic surprise with lots more hopefuly to come :) | parvez

06/5/2009 14:28 | I guess that's the case for many such companies.Still at least Polyfuel are clearly showing demonstrable progress with an up & coming technology in a potential £ multi-billion market. We wait and hope! | r0ss |
