It's red tape compliance, they need some paperwork from POL, I use HFX and had it on a couple of other stocks, suggest you email POL it's down to them probably just overlooked.

Biggest discount to nav I have ever seen in fact. After all we are talking about mostly quoted companies and cash and although Polo could not sell their stakes for the full asking price...wti holding is valued at about 0.4 here. A fraction of current price. No one has even mentioned gcm ...

If anybody is wanting to buy then buy via spreadbet as they are still quoting for larger sized buys at sensible offer prices.

TDW fine but you have to pay a premium.

No stock about - hence tiny volumes.

One large BUY for physical stock will send it North quickly.

Just tried to add to my holding with Halifax - got the message "we no longer allow investment in this stock" - odd and very annoying as I had previously sold stock to realise funds to invest in POLO.

Any one else have the same experience?

Just taken 100k on a June spreadbet @ 4.64p. A fun little gamble.

Absolutely impossible to get any of these via RSP / ISA / traditional broker. Keeps coming back as buy quote unavailable. Sell quotes readily available with MMs definately wanting stock (4 MMs all bidding for large amounts of stock on L2)

Just a vibe but I think this is just about to take off northwards.

Yes someone on 3i has posted Hibiscus is UP 6% to 1.04 valuing Polo’s stake at £27.2 million. Polo’s current market cap is £13.4 million!

A very positive broker note on Hibiscus with a target 50% above the current price which would be worth circa £12.5 million to Polo. The Hibiscus stake at the target price would be worth 3x The current market cap of Polo. It’s about time for the share price of Polo to start moving north!

Initiate coverage on Hibiscus Petroleum (Hibiscus) with BUY call. Our
TP of RM1.48 is derived using the DCF method which only accounts
for its active upstream production assets namely the Anasuria Cluster
and North Sabah EOR PSC but excludes Hibiscus’ Australian assets.
The collapse of oil prices in 2014 was a blessing in disguise for
Hibiscus as it managed to undertake opportunistic acquisitions of the
Anasuria Cluster in North Sea and the North Sabah enhanced oil
recovery (EOR) production sharing contract (PSC). The completion of
the acquisition of the Anasuria Cluster in Mar 2016 led to a
turnaround from an FY16 core net loss of RM145m to an FY17 core
net profit of RM29m. The impending completion of the acquisition of
North Sabah EOR PSC, slated for end-1QCY18, will more than double
its earnings in FY19. Recent enhancement works on Anasuria Cluster
and an ongoing oil price rebound provide further icing on the cake
that underpins our FD core EPS CAGR forecast of 102% over FY17-
20F. As a pure oil & gas exploration and production player, Hibiscus is
the best Malaysian proxy to rising oil prices.
