If GCM get the green light you might think you are in a western as there will be a stampede for Polo shares(and GCM shares as well, but they will be very hard to buy)as Polo will be the only way in. Its good to dream!

Polo has staged a recovery in its share price during January following the sharp fall in December and is again approaching the November high. Lets hope that as the underlying investments continue to perform well we can push through 8p and start to make a dent in the massive discount to NAV.

Just a reminder to new investors...cash is not that far from mkt cap so all these soaring equity stake is in for almost zero.


As at 9 December 2016, the Group had a net position of cash, receivables and short term investments of USD20.29 million (30 June 2016: USD20.83 million). Listed and unlisted investments at marked to market value, cost and valuation amounted to USD39.93 million (30 June 2016: USD34.93 million). The combined total of cash, receivables, payables, listed and unlisted investments was USD56.97 million as of 9 December 2016 (30 June 2016: USD52.52 million) which is equivalent to a Net Asset value of approximately 14.46 pence per Polo share (30 June 2016: 12.57 pence per share).

Well I added today...and I already have some at below 3p. The discount is now huge and that means the risk is low. Many of polo holdings are way up......its too cheap
