06/11/2020 12:15 | This will definitely go the same way as iqai when fda arrives and imo it will.I'm in.Gla. | countdracula55
06/11/2020 11:45 | A lot of investors have this on their watch list and have been hoping for a dip to buy but the share price has held up very well. The pi world interview will have forced a few hands and with less than a month until FDA news FOMO is likely to kick in. Could be about to go on another run here. | acuere
06/11/2020 11:37 | CoolTools the UK listing is a legacy thing really. It is to do with how the original capital and IPO took place. They had some investors who were UK based funds. They are now gone via a clear-up trade that took place at 14p when the fund got into financial distress. | loglorry1
06/11/2020 10:14 | POLX mentioned by Paul Jourdan, Amati Global Investors, at 26m39s. An excellent interview on where he's spotting opportunities particularly in biotech, and much more. Video Podcast: | tomps2

05/11/2020 15:33 | FDA approval and this will do what Iqai has done over the last 2 days. Accumulate. | mustau
03/11/2020 17:20 | Bought a few more today. | fuji99

02/11/2020 18:04 | FDA have 60 days to respond to the priority review request. So we should get an an answer by Dec 6. If accepted then on average that reduces approval answer from 12m to 8m. | acuere
02/11/2020 16:45 | The accelerated FDA. Does anyone have an idea on when a decision might happen. I have dug around and failed to come up with an idea. Duh! apad | apad
27/10/2020 17:59 | Some nice large trades printed late on. | richardjohn10
24/10/2020 15:39 | I think that's called 'punishing success' fuji99 😊 Good idea to break the habit. apad | apad
24/10/2020 15:29 | APAD - It's never late. I thought I was "late" to buy back when I sold 40.000 shares in ASOS at 82p, purchased at 40p (seeing it crossing 100p to reach £80 later) in 2004. I also thought I was late when I sold 20.000 shares in Nocacyt at 145p bought at 90p when it crossed 200p. I think the same story will repeat on here. So I will hold and forget. | fuji99
24/10/2020 15:00 | It's such a simple story to grasp, one wonders what one doesn't know. 😊 As a comparator I have a scan every 3 months that involves injecting radioactive liquid into my blood. It takes 2 days to clear and they say 'drink lots of water'! So, if that's normal then a polarised Xenon should pose no regulatory difficulties whatsoever. What chapter is that in the 'Famous Last Words' book? Anyroadup, I am late to the party as usual. Congratulations to early adopters. apad | apad
24/10/2020 14:49 | THE COUNT: Yes their specific molecular process gives a safe gas (129Xenon) with resolution of 100.000 on scans. The gas is inhaled in 10 seconds. The obtained scans can display the tiniest abnormality in lungs. So the two major benefits are: 1/ Safety which means it can continuously be used without any side effects or harm to the patient. This can be used to follow up Covid-19 patients with long tern lung damage and other patients with chronic diseases such as asthma or other diseases such as tuberculosis or lung cancer etc. 2/ The resolution gives the best accuracy. This means medical errors are limited. All this makes it unique. For information the key technical people are experts in the field with Ph.D's. POLX is a spin off of Duke University with two Nobel laureates in chemistry. So the science is between good hands. Thus why the likes of Bracco and others are invested in POLX. Loads of detailed information can be found in their website and in Justine Waite Videos on YouTube. One can imagine the number of machines available in hopitals in the US and around the world to upgrade once the FDA finalises the NDA approval. This could become a $billion company in 5 years. | fuji99
24/10/2020 06:52 | The Count, Justin Waites clips on YouTube are very informative on POLX. It's very exciting and still at the start of the journey really. This board luckily has no agenda. Accumulate under the radar before FDA. | richardjohn10
23/10/2020 22:49 | --->FUJI99 Is that what hyperpolarizing the gas actually means? Basically transforming it into a non radioactive type? Forgive me for not having had the time to really start doing the research... I stumbled on this purely by accident after watching one of those videos a while back. I have been investing in Medtech for over 20 years now, complete with spectacular successes and real duds, so I like to believe I have developed a slightly better feel of what constitutes a great story/investment nowadays.... and thus far this looks stunning. But will start to go really deeply into the reaearch over time, but for now, quicker to ask a few Qs if you don't mind. I started out a couple of weeks ago with what I thought was an initial nibble of 5k shares, just to get me going. But as I started reading back on posts here and elsewhere, I have got really sucked into this story.... and it does look spectacular (without meaning to ramp it). I have built up a stake of 50k shares so far, but I think it may be wise that I now pause for breath and get to know the story a little better, before going further. But with a great story, it gets difficult to control the greed.... along with the excitement. Thanks to all contributors for all the informative posts on here so far...it makes it a little easier to do the ground work and of course, it is highly appreciated. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
23/10/2020 19:11 | We could test all time highs again this week, break above there and we stop where???? | richardjohn10
23/10/2020 17:37 | THE COUNT - The secret is in the process of transforming a radioactive gas into a non-radioactive Xenon. Thus safer. | fuji99
23/10/2020 17:24 | There is plenty of info on their website concerning patents and also there view on whether they can get NCE for hyperpolarized xenon Gas once approved. | slicethepie
23/10/2020 16:08 | --->CHRYSALIS99 You raise some interesting Qs. Is Helium use already FDA approved, and if so, how widespread is its use? And how much more does it help to enhance the imaging? I have seen it said on here that polarised Xenon gas enhances images to a factor of a few hundred thousand. Does Helium do anything in that ball park? And of course, there is the cost of the 2 procedures. If anyone can shed some more light on all this, would be much appreciated. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
23/10/2020 14:56 | Chrysalis - One hurdle is in the hyperpolarisation process of the gas to obtain 129Xenon. POLX have their own machines with process programmes with 30 patents for various applications. "Polarean Imaging plc., located in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina, launched in January 2012, after securing all of GE Healthcare’s assets in the field of hyperpolarized gas MRI, including the exclusive rights to approximately 30 patent families. Although operating as a new corporate entity, the Polarean Imaging plc. team has a combined 50 years of experience in the design, development, production and service of hyperpolarized equipment." | fuji99 |
