05/11/2018 19:13 | it's very clear that the directors have no embarrassment at all in vacuuming as much cash out of the company that they can get away with. It really is their personal cash cow. They wouldn't pay a dividend as they told shareholders that they wanted to re-invest funds in the company, er well no....what they meant was they don't want other shareholders to have money that they can extract out of the company instead. They treat other shareholders as a convenience for what they want to do. Most decent company directors of small growth companies take very small salaries as they genuinely want to use all the spare cash to grow the company. These directors just want to borrow huge amounts of someone else's money to fund the growth, their tag line should be "someone else always pays"! | pbanus
05/11/2018 18:27 | He is posting his concerns on here to enable others view his and our concerns over continuing dodgy dealings. What is the point of attending the meeting, listening to more excuses from arrogant part time CEO's and wasting more on transport fees. These two directors are nothing more than slippery eels. | marvinridesagain
05/11/2018 18:22 | I do agree. What are you going to do about it then. | lilah1
05/11/2018 17:17 | They also sit on millions and millions of self awarded share options. How much is too much for these people? Director salaries must be SLASHED. | maybesum
05/11/2018 16:19 | You are kidding me lol? These 2 part time fat cats will milk PPG dry and close it down. Some directors have morals, not many but some do; sadly these 2 don't! I have said it before and say it again; becoming a CEO is the best and only job in the world that rewards mega failure with mega financial rewards. Tatnall is nothing more than an arrogant dodgy car salesman, so don't expect too much from him. | marvinridesagain
05/11/2018 14:59 | Also interesting to see that the chairman of Patisserie Valerie presides over a much larger company, mkt cap of £581M but takes a £60K salary. The directors here run a minnow of a company by comparison, but take HUGE salaries c £240K, what a mismatch! | pbanus
05/11/2018 10:14 | Interesting to read that the chairman of Patisserie Valeri has given up his 60k salary while he revives the business.....also he is giving up directorships of other companies after Cristism from PV shareholders. Good to see. Any thoughts of doing the same Tatnall, Longley, Lazarec???????? | maybesum
02/11/2018 11:03 | Looks like everyone is lost for words! | bishopawn

30/10/2018 12:26 | It’s well known that management are way over enthusiastic with the truth, they are not going to tell you anything negative, they are only going to tell you what you want to hear, with out giving anything of importance away, as that would be illegal. They are salesmen, who over embellish timelines and goals, using smoke and mirrors tactics to get you excited and feeling things are all ok. But things are not ok and that is why we have the share price languishing well under a penny. At the end of the day I hope they can turn this around and soon | lilah1
30/10/2018 12:19 | Whole market is weak we just sit and await the good news . | nw99
30/10/2018 12:16 | at that time the directors gave reassurances, since then the share price has halved again! | pbanus
30/10/2018 12:06 | Not guessing who holds at all as a shareholder I speak to management and have done so . So if you cannot be bothered then you have no interest . The numbers were corrected and calls went through for those that called them . | nw99
30/10/2018 11:51 | @nw99 the correct numbers were not given, on the RNS they were wrong. The directors email addresses also didn't garner responses, and it's noticeable that one of the directors now uses a btinternet email rather than the plutuspowergen one that was quoted. You appear rather dim on this topic, your question again was, "why do you bother criticising a company you do not hold shares in that was the question ?" The response AGAIN is, you don't know who holds shares in the company, you are just GUESSING again. On this thread perhaps we would all like to see two of the directors resign as we don't think they're up to the job! Perhaps the third one isn't much good either. Hopefully they've got that vibe LOUD and CLEAR!! | pbanus
30/10/2018 11:06 | So you attended meetings and spoke directly to management via telephone when the correct numbers were given to you ? | nw99
30/10/2018 10:57 | Here is something for you all to think about, as so many of you keep saying why hold shares in a company that you criticise. People invested on the original story / opportunity, the business model was wrong, the story changed, the promises / goals weren't delivered, the share price collapsed, so quite a few of us, if not all of us, are now in a negative financial position The criticising is well deserved, due to incredibly bad management, bad choices, lack of expertise, the loss of the CEO, part timers with no experience in this sector & no focus, no funding delivered for gas sites, huge salaries / salary hikes and so on. So those in charge, deserve to be made accountable and criticised for what is a truly poor job. So we the investors are now stuck holding large losses if we sell and I would guess most of us don't want to or cant afford to sell The situation we find ourselves in, is solely down to the total incompetence of the management team, and as investors, we have the total right to criticise them. All investor across the stock markets of the world, have the right to criticise the board in any PLC, big or small and they do. By criticising them, we can hopefully bring about change and see our investment grow. Doing & saying nothing, would be foolish of us, so it is important to criticise where criticism is deserved. | lilah1 |
