It's good news for customers, and was the correct decision imo. It's not great for PPG or other embedded generators - but they are losing something they should never have been entitled to.

When/if the 3 remaining Rockpool sites get built ,will they be gas sites perhaps? Might be a way of cutting their teeth with gas, but funding would obviously still be required. But does not account for the silence

Beginning to think that the gas site rollout is pure fantasy. I seem to remember a couple of months that someone thought they had 80% of the funding. If that was the case then you'd just lower your targets for rollout to get 2 or 3 gas sites built initially. It's looking like the funding for the gas sites is going to come from the sale of the Rockpool sites next year....is 45% of the proceeds going to be enough ? not sure to be honest.
