19/10/2017 17:11 | Apparently cantor have issued a buy note with review target of 3.6p. With their track record I will be looking for 6p minimum ! They managed to completely miss rise from 1.25 to 2.5p | 1savvyinvestor
13/10/2017 19:16 | To rate this as a hold when we know what is coming online in the coming weeks and in the longer term is crazy!! | danyo11
12/10/2017 11:52 | I'm increasingly sceptical about broker forecasts. Cantor seem to have been absolutely useless for Plutus. They joined them in February. The price slipped over the following weeks as one seller dumped. Then of course March happened and now we have a steady and sustained rise back to where we were when we joined Cantor!! So - what does hold mean? They said that when we were at 1.25!! Share price has doubled and they haven't even bothered to write a new note or raise their targets. Complete waste of space. I'm sure companies like Plutus wonder what they pay these useless idiots for!! | 1savvyinvestor
12/10/2017 11:50 | Yes impressive chart Savvy! This is despite the on-the-fence "hold" broker rating from Cantor. 3p again is on the cards by the end of the year IMO. | iceboy
11/10/2017 15:12 | Anyone notice the bit on the annual report about retro fitting battery tech to rockpool sites? Very interesting. | 1savvyinvestor

05/10/2017 22:47 | Ok I found it in the results. Hadn’t had chance to read in detail. That statement at the foot is not consistent with information elsewhere in the results | codydotcom
05/10/2017 22:21 | @market master Where and when is that screenshot from please? It mentions the 50m bond, suggesting it is recent, but then says that 180mw will be up and running by the end of this year - a target that even the most bullish bulls on here don’t seem to think is likely, especially as they only seem to have 5 in build, plus 1 in operation TIA | codydotcom
05/10/2017 14:01 | We have made good progress with the installation of power generation projects, and will have 6 operational facilities representing 120MW of capacity by the end of 2017. We have the remaining three Rockpool sites with planning and anticipate having these built in time for next winter. | market master
05/10/2017 11:44 | Once we can break through this two and a half pence resistance levels then we should be up to the highs pretty quickly | montynj

05/10/2017 07:24 | UK’s largest back-up energy generator up for sale ahead of earnings boom UK Power Reserve was set up in 2010 and operates the generation equivalent of a major power plant which has been broken up and scattered across the UK CREDIT: UK POWER RESERVE Jillian Ambrose 29 SEPTEMBER 2017 • 12:46PM The company behind a string of mini-power plants has put itself up for sale in the first major test of investor interest in the burgeoning market for flexible back-up power. Sources close to the sale said RBC Capital began distributing a sales prospectus for UK Power Reserve in recent days, but the company has already engaged potential investors in informal talks. The flexible electricity generator is understood to have piqued the interest of large-scale energy companies hoping to tap the boom in small-scale generation which is partly to blame for the industry’s struggle to build large-scale plants which have higher upfront costs. Institutional investors willing to take on a riskier infrastructure investment have also shown interest, alongside private equity players. UKPR declined to comment on the sales process or potential buyers. The growth is expected to be fuelled by its growing portfolio of small-scale generation units, mainly fuelled by gas. UKPR has around 800MW worth of power under its control and by 2020 it will breach the 1GW mark, putting its total capacity at a third of the Hinkley Point power station after only a few years. UKPR was set up in 2010 and operates the generation equivalent of a major power plant which has been broken up and scattered across the UK. Its nimble, low-cost mini gas plants have already scooped up National Grid contracts to provide back up power for the energy system to balance the peaks and troughs of wind and solar power. The need for low-cost, rapid-response flexibility in the energy system has triggered a shift away from investment in large-scale thermal generation which are difficult to finance due to low wholesale market prices. But the sale of UKPR will be the first major test of investor interest in the burgeoning sub-sector. UKPR is also mulling expansion plans in other countries which face a similar dilemma in balancing the grid alongside variable low-carbon energy sources. The company is considering exporting its business model to Australia, the US and parts of Europe. | market master
