31/1/2019 16:42 | After 18 months of talk of funding, does anyone have an opinion on why funding isn’t in place? What is actually holding this up? What we really need is more detail on where they are at with this process, saying we are in talks, is just not good enough I don't believe there is anything unregulatory in informing PPG investors and the market where they are at with this process. | lilah1
30/1/2019 14:06 | I doubt there are many investors left. In short the Interim results RNS was just a re hash of what they have been saying for over a year The only news that can move the share price is funding. This news might be round the corner or months away. They need to update us on where they are on the funding front | lilah1
30/1/2019 13:26 | Unless I'm mistaken no trades either way today... certainly shows the lack of interest or excitement in today's statement. | ochs
30/1/2019 10:34 | I just don't know!! Given up predicting progress!! | 1savvyinvestor
30/1/2019 10:19 | I agree with your assumption re the funding raise in the Autumn "Substantial funds that will transform he company" are we to think this is just round the corner or do you think we are months away? Thanks 1savvyinvestor | lilah1
30/1/2019 10:12 | I'm equally frustrated by the time scale lilah! The only defence of them I will make is that there have been quite a lot of gremlins thrown in over the past 12 months. The sums of money being talked about remain pretty substantial and will transform the business if/when achieved. I don't really understand why they could not be clearer about why they did the fund raise last Autumn. There are clues in todays RNS regarding the value of sites they have about to go in to planning and I think the funding was used to secure those sites at a knock down price. | 1savvyinvestor
30/1/2019 09:55 | From Interims: "From a funding prospective, we continue to work to secure the appropriate funding for our pipeline of gas sites and discussions with potential financial partners are ongoing" What the hell are they talking about that takes 18 months "progressing talks with regard to achieving a suite of equity and debt for its planned "gas peaker" portfolio, we look forward to being able to update the market with progress thereon" For goodness sake deliver it. It really doesn't or shouldn't take this amount of time to get funding, unless there are issues we don't know about We've heard all this before. Actions speak louder than words | lilah1
30/1/2019 09:39 | I don't think there will be a fund raise. The equity element of any funding will be to co - owners of the new spvs not to the parent company. It is taking for ever and the market is bored!! | 1savvyinvestor
30/1/2019 09:23 | Just read the Interim statement. So do people think further equity placings are likely? It sounds like further funding will be needed to develop the in house sites and the chairman's statement says '...and progressing talks with regard to achieving a suite of equity and debt for its planned "gas peaker" portfolio...' I'm currently holding and averaged down last week, as hoping this is the bottom. | ochs
29/1/2019 22:28 | No news on gas sites and the funding ther of since May RNS 2017, 18 or so months back. Pretty poor show. Can they actually raise the funds and have they actually got gas sites that have been referred to in past RNSs. We need an update & ASAP So over promised and under delivered. Let’s hope they can turn this around | lilah1

24/1/2019 14:34 | Oh dear, PPG is very unloved at the moment although we have had a little flurry of buys in the last couple of days. Let's hope these buyers have sniffed a positive RNS on the way! I am still optimistic about PPG's future but my patience is being tested! I suspect the Diesel generators are being used a lot at the moment. Gridwatch shows that gas-fired power stations are running at full throttle for the last couple of days. They haven't done this at all in the last 12 months. It seems there is a problem at one of the few remaining nuclear stations which means the full 8GW is not available from nuclear. And wind power is negligible at the moment and has been poor for several days. hxxp://www.gridwatch | iceboy
23/1/2019 11:01 | Yes, a valuation of the company as low as £4 million looks very much like a giveaway, given the list of positives that should be announced shortly. But skepticism rules for now, as people say to the directors somewhat wearily, "Show me the money, Honey!!" Some good news before the end of January would be nice....Good luck! | bishopawn
22/1/2019 14:12 | Thanks Savvy. Surely the CM mess sorted soon | 2pablo
22/1/2019 13:45 | A short word about PPG and its prospects for 2019. Current market cap is £4 million and I can see why. Investors nervous about lack of news and the capacity market mechanism mess. Once Triad is reduced the future success of the Diesel sites is closely tied to 15 year index linked Capacity mechanism payments. These should total around £450 K per annum. Add in other income from other sources and sites will be profitable. I would expect income to be around the £900K mark on each site. As investors we have to decide whether this is a secure forecast. We are also waiting to hear about the build out of the Medway Gas site which should commence soon. Then of course we have the ongoing saga of finance for further gas sites. If and when this finance is confirmed there is a strong chance that the share price could move significantly fairly quickly...but when will that be? None of us really knows. A bit like Brexit really!! Who knows what will happen on March 29th!! | 1savvyinvestor
18/1/2019 10:32 | Nuclear Energy too expensive. Imported Liquified Shale Gas from America a much cheaper option. Sounds good for the likes of Plutus going forward to meet the shortfall in the National Energy Mix. | bishopawn
15/1/2019 09:52 | May be people sense that after a long wait the Plutus train is about to leave the station!! | bishopawn

03/1/2019 14:49 | Happy new year all. Quite possibly a triad today. Hope PPG assets are all up and running Good luck for 2019 | bmcb5
