I have been following Plus500 since it came to the market and am now invested for the third time.

In August I sold out during the fall from 2000p and have bought back with an average price of 1475p. As I never understood the reason for the fall from 2000p to around 1300p I would really appreciate your views on this.


If Berenberg's latest forecasts are near the mark we should be in for a massive surge in the share price and dividend - didn't Plus say they will return at least have of the free cash flow to shareholders ?

The reality seems to be that there is a massive difference of opinion on this company and its prospects. Unusually massive. Odey reckon it's worth north of £40 (or was it £70 I can't remember), hedge funds think it's overvalued at £15!

£15 does appear to be a little resistance level for Plus. The current Hedge Funds huge 12.51% (over 0.5%)short is quite significant and playing heavily on this stock. However it cannot be long before they will start reviewing their short positions as the share price rises above £15

If and when they start covering their shorts this share price has to surge upwards again to previous highs. Berenberg obviously believe this must be on the cards as their 2320 target is very encouraging.

Berenberg will see the KPI’s they need to see in February 12th FY Results. At that point 2019 Full Year will also be guided up.
