09/10/2018 18:20 | Looks as if Kairos no longer short - appear to have bought back 0.54% on Friday 4th. Shorts over 0.5% down from 8.49% to 8% on Friday 4th. However looks as if shorts increased yesterday. The drop on Friday 4th due to D E Shaw increasing by 0.05% and also presumably by one or more under 0.5% increasing their short %. Being a LTH (in for the dividends) I'm philosophical about this current shorting. PLUS500 have no need to fund raise, so from that viewpoint the share price is not material. If PLUS500 feels it needs to protect itself against a hostile bid, it will raise the share price as it did very successfully from 17th June 2017 to 17th Aug 2017 taking the share price up from about 550p to 800p. There was one more buyback - on 17th Dec 2017 - to move the share price back over 800p, below which it had dipped intraday. sp not helped of course currently by the Founders still holding c8%. The 90 day period before any of those can be sold will end in early December. | metis20

09/10/2018 17:13 | yep, missed the bottom, although i did say. not too bothered about trying to trade minute by minute. probably another up day for part of it tomorrow but then i think overall another down day by the close ofplay | sb888

09/10/2018 15:45 | yes, if it goes xd the way this is falling, it really doesnt matter | sb888
09/10/2018 15:43 | please tell me if i'm wrong. don't the shorters have to pay up on any dividend for the period that they hold a short position? | crapcrap
09/10/2018 14:35 | Still can't it hold above 10 pounds???or Not is the question!!!! | costax1654x
09/10/2018 14:16 | And before that. They have added a further percent. One thing to bear in mind - we hear about all the shorts as these are published if >0.5%, but we only hear about other hedge funds buying if >3%. Clearly we hear about Odey (often!), but not other HFs who may also have initiated positions. The bears are winning for now, however. | chucko1
09/10/2018 12:48 | Looks like Odey was adding again yesterday | andrewclarke99
09/10/2018 12:43 | Costax - Look at the overall market.....been hammered for the last two weeks !!! | gorilla36
09/10/2018 11:51 | Anyone knows what went wrong here?Apart of virtual coins falling/more taxes and a better regulated market? | costax1654x

09/10/2018 11:42 | tempted to take another big profit, cant keep just falling, must be a short term bounce atleast | sb888
09/10/2018 10:47 | Per an old FT article Canaccord Genuity were sole financial advisor to PTEC when they wanted to buy PLUS around three years ago. Link:https://www.ft. | s_a_b
09/10/2018 08:38 | The City do not trust PLUS, they never have. The earnings are spectacular, and that raises eyebrows. ESMA looks like it is going to hurt, and the insiders are selling. Gone ex growth now too | sb888
09/10/2018 08:36 | So what went wrong? | costax1654x
09/10/2018 08:35 | 10£?? By the chart looks like!! | costax1654x
09/10/2018 08:30 | The short down a little bit, I think last time it was 8.54% and now its 8.49% (of over 0.5% shorters) | sb888
08/10/2018 20:24 | Cheers - so more upside than downside then ;) | s_a_b
08/10/2018 19:30 | £10 handle for me this month | sb888
08/10/2018 17:57 | Recommended t/o at 4 quid perhaps | the monkster
08/10/2018 17:04 | From Canaccord, their target is £10.64. Also, the original shorter, Phil Fin Mgmt increased their short. So we have target share price ranging from 1064p to 2800p, with Odey being more bullish than even the top forecast. Fun this one. | chucko1 |
