16/8/2018 20:35 | yet they underperform....... | sb888
16/8/2018 20:34 | The one thing i am certain of is the ridiculously low H2 estimate of 75m EBITDA will be smashed. Although I would rather management guide accurately than extra conservatively and then beat | aakash30
16/8/2018 20:19 | Dow is a Walmart thing, but your point is correct. This new apparent volatility is not unusual, it’s more of a return to normal. On this point, the analysts are clueless. | chucko1
16/8/2018 19:44 | Dow up more than 400pts.Volatility across all trading instruments...equiti | nurdin
16/8/2018 18:07 | sb888 _ Lol....I know they have been getting away with it for years! All they way from £4 to £20....shockin | gorilla36
16/8/2018 18:06 | Ignore him - he’s a total numpty. Pretending to know about investing. Jog on. It’s so easy to spread non specific suggestions when you’ve got nothing specific ... utter drivel | thedoghouser
16/8/2018 17:54 | Of course I am. Very full explanation, many thanks. | noujay
16/8/2018 17:52 | noujay. you are clearly a fool you cant compare the two, like comparing del trotter with harrods. | sb888
16/8/2018 17:40 | Of course you can compare the two - absurd to suggest you can't, they are sector peers. I'd like to hear any full explanation of why you think IG are such a better company and Plus is so horrible. | noujay
16/8/2018 17:16 | Where is the volatility? It's only upwards as they get away with what they're doing. | sb888
16/8/2018 17:14 | I wrote this: “My own view on the share price is that a significant discount is still required on account of the volatility of earnings. They would need to diversify their offering to offset that”. To clarify, it is not a discount from its current price I am suggesting, but rather a discount when expressed as a P/E compared with IG. I would argue a significant discount to be 25% or so - it is currently 50% which in fact, suggests a share price of 2700 or so. Ceteris paribus. But if one believes a 50% discount to account for the risk, I cannot strongly argue with that sort of perception. I may just have more risk tolerance. | chucko1

16/8/2018 14:26 | Worst case for the bears is it's gone ex growth.....best case is that our suspicious minds are correct. | sb888
16/8/2018 14:21 | Must hurt to keep making excuses for them.... Sure sign...red flag | sb888
16/8/2018 14:19 | Some stocks are so obviously buys that people look for a snag: and Plus500 seems to be one of them. Directors (and wife's of non-exec directors, as of yesterday, particularly) cash in, and why not? Who sensibly wants all their assets in one place, no matter how good the place may be? It's never wrong to take a profit. For me the numbers look really good, and they are really good; unless someone is suggesting malfeasance?? I'm happy to have bought more at £17.83 a couple of days back, and maybe when they get back up above £20 by a few £s (say, £23/£24) | andrewbaker
16/8/2018 14:13 | And I beg you to share - what is the rat? Moron | thedoghouser
16/8/2018 13:47 | I'm not short as I said before. I'm waiting, I smell a rat | sb888
16/8/2018 13:21 | Less advice more just recalling the performance around the last record dates. Everyone must do as they wish - you're short, I'm long - let's see how we go | noujay
16/8/2018 13:11 | Chucky. Yes it is, because the same doubts are here now as they were then They e had plenty of time to gain analysts but haven't. I would be concerned. It stinks! | sb888
16/8/2018 13:09 | Great advice noujay. A pound off since you said to buy! | sb888
16/8/2018 12:53 | If share price performance repeats following the last dividend record date when it sprung up to the pre-record date level almost immediately, this week will have offered up a terrific opportunity IMO for cap return and a high div payment.See no word from sailing john this week here - would be interested to get your take on current status if you aren't on your boat! | noujay
16/8/2018 11:39 | Penelope Judd, of course would have put her 30 year reputation, quit her job as head of compliance at Norma to take a job & remain at that job at Plus 500 if she thought it was a polly!I'm not sure if you are genuinely mad, or just lonely. | jplus |
