24/5/2018 11:19 | Looking at the PLUS share register, I can see no holding by any possible AIM tracker or otherwise AIM stock specialist. Therefore, on admission to the 250, it looks like a unidirectioonal flow. Of course, could other interested sellers use it as a further opportunity to sell to the trackers? That would be 6 months from March 2nd when certain owners sold and stipulated a cessation of further selling. But I would agree that all of this is subordinate to the issue that PLUS becomes increasingly investible as part of a main market, especially with a far wider shareholder base. The downside is that were there to be a large market correction, then in its initial stages, PLUS gets sold automatically along with all the others, and so the element of hedging and diversification is diluted. | chucko1
24/5/2018 10:50 | Getting into the 250 should put it on a pe of at least 15 as per its peers. This should put it on a price of £24 | rogash
24/5/2018 10:23 | Anyone worked out which FTSE 250 re-balance they might be considered for? From briefly looking at it, appears the mid March moves are based on market caps near end Feb, so Plus would probably miss June (as not on main market at end May). Therefore, thinking might be considered for Sept moves. | alan00
24/5/2018 10:05 | About as much as the length of that piece of string....? One thing joining the main market brings to an Aim listed company is credibility. | yertiz
24/5/2018 09:29 | What sort of jump could we expect from a company moving into the main markets? | davebdavid
24/5/2018 09:28 | It's more expensive on the main market and the rules are more onerous, which is why companies choose AIM. If PLUS moves to the main market I feel it will greatly improve institutional sentiment towards the company. There are funds that cannot invest on AIM. | nod

24/5/2018 08:55 | MJ1 They will be admitted to the full list on June 25th. Liberum would have already approached the LSE stating their intentions to list and would have received a nod or shake of the head. I would say it is 95% given that they will be admitted. | jpsmithson

24/5/2018 08:42 | I have never owned shares to move up, if they do how long does the process take? And what is the likely chance of them being successful? | michaeljames1
24/5/2018 08:19 | Amazed that this was not immediately marked up at the bell. I remember being in ETO and SXX after they moved to the main market, they both had sustained rises lasting about a month. | jpsmithson

24/5/2018 08:01 | This news will give institutional investors more confidence to invest here and will help the continued re-rating imo. | interceptor2
24/5/2018 07:55 | Great news :) See this in the FTSE 100 in a couple of years. | xajorkith
24/5/2018 07:17 | That would be at about a third of the way down the FTSE250 - current mcap c.£1850mn | metis20
24/5/2018 07:12 | And a place in the 250 at the next reshuffle. Great news | sailing john
24/5/2018 07:07 | RNS - application for Full Listing. Now that would be good news! This will improve the profile and investor market for Plus500. | yertiz
24/5/2018 07:04 | Interesting news this morning! Intention to move to the main market. | villarich

20/5/2018 11:38 | In my opinion plus still has yet to re-rate to a bigger market cap than IG. It is a larger business (based on Q1), growing faster and with a much better dividend. | thevaluehunter
18/5/2018 14:46 | I can’t answer that as I am already signed up. I am also a client, so perhaps that made my route different/easier. A few posts ago, I wrote something that may have been slightly incorrect. I had calculated that the share price had risen 16% the past few weeks and so Odey would have to likely sell stock. This is true, but I had assumed all other things being equal. But they have not been - the funds that the stock resides in have also risen, on average by 7% (weighted average),and so the effective rise of PLUS holdings in the funds are about 9%. So this still means that they would likely need to sell, but clearly a lesser amount. This is actually good for everyone - less selling and funds also doing well on top of their PLUS holding. There is another fund that is relatively unconstrained and so, in theory, Odey could internally transfer some of the holding. But that fund is small and so that would not be a long term viable solution. | chucko1
