I note that discussions are currently taking place about a Summer party again.

My suggestion that it would be good to get everyone together in one place of an afternoon by carrying out a fire drill hasnt quite hit the mark.

I don't know why you chaps watch all this modern rubbish. Last night I saw Sergeant York, with Gary Cooper as a simple man from Tennessee who made a great contribution to the war effort. Sterling stuff.

The tory party is morally, as well as ideologically bankrupt.
This wretched character should have had the Whip removed, as soon as he made this known to the Whips.

But of course the Sunak cabal feared he would tell all about the plot, of which he was a leading member, along with Mel Stride and Greg Hands to oust two sitting Prime Ministers, merely to get the current nomark into No10.

Wonderfully, both Stride and Hands are set to lose their seats.

Drive all tories out..hold your nose,,,vote tactically if needs be,,,,but get the tory out.

Mrs E informs me that the local park was overrun around 9.00 this morning by men wearing frocks and silly white pillbox hats, literally hundreds and hundreds of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed Twin Peaks. Never saw Lost. The fact that this one now appears to be based on a computer game and trails off without any of the many and incomprehensible storylines being resolved (gawd help us if that is so they can do a second series) left me with the feeling I had wasted several hours of my life. A mistake I will not be making again.

Twin peaks was a terrible watch, a huge mistake on my part that I will forever regret.

Lost 2 episodes and thankfully no more.

Mornin'all.

#7808,
The fact that comes from a publication for self-proclaimed "geeks" tells you all you need to know. Unwatchable by normal human beings.

Dust from the Sahara desert turns skies in Spain orange | Euronews

- Air quality is very low due to the dust cloud and authorities in Spain warned people to wear masks if they have to go outside. ... Spain issued extremely poor air quality ratings for Madrid and a large swath of the country Tuesday after a mass of hot air from the Sahara dumped dust after crossing the Med.

South East England already has the dust cloud.

It`s coming!

If the Saharan dust cloud comes further West the advice will be to wear a mask as the minute particles can kill.

Let`s hope this shower ignore that advice, I am sure they will.

hahahahaha

It is in their nature mate, if you ever speak to any poor sap that moved out there to build thing or run a resort etc, they all got fleeced by both the criminal gangs and the authorities.

It is precisely why the EU became the cesspit that it did.

Morning all, caught a snippet this morning that due to the repeated European heatwaves, some people are having their human rights denied by having to remain in doors and under ECHR rules can take Govts. to court if they fail to implement net zero appropriately. Gets better all the time, who can we sue over all this rainfall?
